thanks again everyone, i really appreciate it.
but yeah, that's the thing. n79 has a better camera and possibly even easier to type with, while the tube is well, a touch screen phone and is more stylish than the n79. still not so sure about the typing so i'll have to go and compare those 2 phones again tomorrow!

Possibly. But given the right practice (and patience!) i find that typing with touchscreen is easier, even though the Tube is resistive, not capacitive (iPod Touch/iPhone, for example). But the camera is shit if compared to N79.

Comes down to what you need, really. Phone cameras still lack quality in fine details, something that irks me in photos. I'd prefer lugging along my camera if i need to take photos.
*
it's good to know that the typing just needs practice as that, i don't mind doing biggrin.gif
i agree about the camera, i don't really take that many pictures with my phone anyway so i guess i'm heading towards the tube more now

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Apr 3 2009, 10:33 PM)
depends what your priority. Me i dont need a 5MP i need big screen because i do alot internet surfing like right now replying from tube. The n79 screen so small  u will cry surfing lyn on it

Tube have 4 input handwriting, FULL QWERTY, MINI QWERTY , ALPHANUMBERIC KEYPAD. Go nokia centre and test but remember bring a symbian expert along and u will love the experience even more.
*
ooh, you're replying from you're tube? hehe, i love surfing lyn and the internet in general so that's a plus point. thanks for pointing it out to me. i never thought of that -.-

so, i guess all in all.. if i enjoy my music and internet surfing, don't take too many pictures with my phone and don't mind practicing until i'll be able to type without looking at the screen, this phone would be a better choice than the n79 right?
oh, and it won't rosak that easily as some ppl say as well? i mean, i take really good care of my phones so it really shouldn't be a problem kan? sorry! hope you guys aren't annoyed. cause when i was at the nokia service centre earlier this morning, and asked the guy working there about this, he was all 'uhhhh..' and hesitant to answer.

normal. The staff in nokia centre are useless. They do not know anything i test them before.

yes for internet, movies and u dun mind practice until without looking yes 5800 XM is a good choice. If camera is piority then get N79. When u use GPS it feel liks a garmin navigator everything feels big

ok then, i'll go there again tomorrow just to look at both the phones again. although i think i already know which one i'd prefer.. but still. hehe. thanks again, you've been very helpful smile.gif
