Btw I posted this in some other forums but I think it is only fair if I share with my fellow tubians here. Those who want a Chinese version of Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.40 you can download it here..
Download! Maybe some of you might need it... I dunno. The interface looks like this: ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by J-Slade: Mar 21 2009, 11:10 PM |

QUOTE(aspire2oo6 @ Mar 21 2009, 10:56 PM) The official maps are probably outsourced to malaysians to make. And prob to those involved in mfm. So at the end of the day mfm is the way to go cause its done locally, updated frequently and is free. I am not a mfm spokesperson, just love their maps |

If Nokia come out with a new firmware that allow us to use the touchscreen to unlock the phone instead of using the physical slide on the right, that would be better.
My slide getting loose as times go on. Kinda worried. It will 'mati pucuk'. |

QUOTE(icechiller555 @ Mar 21 2009, 11:23 PM) Hey, Bro how bad is the light leakage? Actually if under the light you don't see it, that is not light leak. Yes in pitch black dark we can see the light leak but the real people who face light leak can see it even in broad daylight. Is yours that bad? However has had the light leakage problem and taken their phone to ncc? What do they do? Just tighten the screws? I might go on mon cause have the day off. Worth going? Aspire. . If it is tight shut your phone is gonna heat up like a hot air baloon This post has been edited by J-Slade: Mar 21 2009, 11:33 PM |

My lcd was fading/turning purple so I took it and got it fixed (they replaced it). Now I am having light leakage at several areas at the top of the phone. Not very obvious but I am guessing it is cause they did not fix the lcd perfectly. So the light leak at the side is not something that we want them to fix, might heat up the phone? Cause I was gonna ask them to fix all the light leakage. . .Btw I have mentioned this before in the previous thread. The gap there is actually for heat ventilation that is why u see the light leak. IF the gap is TOO BIG = light leak in broad daylight = NOT GOOD... A little light leak should be acceptable, the heat ventilation thingy I stumbled upon on the Nokia Forums, in the worst case it should be partly true... |

When u ask them to fix light leakage they won't replace you a cover. What they do is tighten the screw that holds the cover then making the gap smaller. Actually the hole there is meant for the media button's light to disperse heat. If u look carefully in it, u will see the gap is just for the media button part. If they can seal it out they already did that in production

QUOTE(J-Slade @ Mar 21 2009, 11:48 PM) U look carefully in the gap u will see the hole is nicely cut just for the xpressmusic media button. The size is too precise for it to be a mistake Thanks man, Will prob go but just ask them to sort out the light coming out from the top of the screen and not the hole that is present for ventilation. Mine is a unique case, cause after the lcd was changed there is slight light coming out from the top of the screen. Think they just have to tighten the screw on the top or something (hope: fingers crossed |

Guys I just found this out. If u tap the part of your screen in between your battery and your operator logo, it will prompt 2 things. Got these cross arrows and the time. You click the cross arrows u will be brought to 'Connectivity' and you can turn on stuff like your bluetooth and wifi. Kinda cool shortcut
