Everyone already has this app right? Free iSMS? Now there is an update v1.01
What is it? Threaded SMS like iPhone style. Somehow I find this much more easier to use. ![]() But you need to sign it though... best for users with their own Dev Cert because I heard for this app using SymbianSigned it won't work.. Note: How to delete sms? Press and hold on the sms then it will prompt you (just like when you wanna kill a task) *edit* dunno why cannot upload directly to LYN.. oh well here is a link Download This post has been edited by J-Slade: Apr 1 2009, 01:02 AM |

just tell them my battery die very fast like within half a day. they're not gonna like fully charge your phone and force u to wait half a day at the centre right? |

QUOTE(rognales @ Apr 1 2009, 03:03 PM) i've been wondering, this is an XpressMusic series but why we dont have dedicated music button like others in the series? Dah la SQ not so nice. I hate to say this but... RTFM ![]() In fact everything leads to the dedicated button... the online promo video. the demo videos in the phone. the manual. the Nokia Centre... only ignorance can make you miss the button. In fact when you buy the phone, the screen protector even hints of the dedicated button This post has been edited by J-Slade: Apr 1 2009, 03:08 PM |

Don't need to buy from Oakley. There are several alternatives around.
go to http://www.focalprice.com and search for "sunglasses"... you can get these for less than RM60 |

QUOTE(ysksky @ Apr 2 2009, 08:11 PM) good news! Wow they changed your casing because of that gap? Its either you're pretty lucky or that your gap is really obvious.. ncc change new casing for my tube because of the gap on top right! Only battery cover not be changed bad news 1.The new casing still have gap.. but much more better than previous. The gap is very small and it is harder alot to press between the small gap. 2.need to buy new invisible shield.... QUOTE(echo.Garden @ Apr 2 2009, 09:05 PM) hehe thanks for the offer bro but I think its out of most of the ppl here's budget... and besides, not everyone likes over the head, ear covering headphones.. but good offer you got there bro QUOTE(jnick @ Apr 2 2009, 09:08 PM) The exit key is your end call button (the red button). Its already written in the instructions on the Nokia Beta Labs website. |

I am sooooooooo slowpoke.
But did you guys realize that in The Dark Knight, the phone that Lucius Fox (played by Morgan Freeman) gave to Bruce Wayne was the Nokia 5800 a.k.a the Tube. He was explaining about the sonar technology... here is the part of the movie. (look closely at 0:04 you will see the XpressMusic dropdown menu in Red!) Nah screenie for you.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « But wait, you guys will probably think that doesn't look like the tube.... it has a silver lining around it and it looks more futuristic. Well surprise surprise, the tube in the Dark Knight movie was a prototype.. and in fact, earlier TV Commercials of the tube is using the earlier prototype.. lemme show you one here.. Now that pretty much explains why there is a Dark Knight trailer that comes with the tube... So how about that? Even Bruce Wayne a.k.a Batman uses the Tube This post has been edited by J-Slade: Apr 2 2009, 09:56 PM |

QUOTE(alex5813 @ Apr 3 2009, 08:55 AM) Another question is about fring...apparently, fring merges my MSN contacts with my phonebook contacts when operating, and it made the whole list real messy and long... is there anyway for fring to show ONLY my MSN contacts ? or any other recommendations for IM softwares? I tried to use the built in IM application, but it asks for servers details which I am unaware of... I know for yahoo configurations, but unsure of MSNs. In fring, there is a setting to hide your phonebook contacts. Try to look for the option, its in there. Cos I also just fixed this issue yesterday on my tube.QUOTE(rognales @ Apr 3 2009, 09:58 AM) something weird happened with my tube. yesterday i did backup using pc suite, completed with some errors. but when i review the log, everything went well. suddenly all my contacts are gone. i had to restart the phone then only the contacts reappear. I am going through this right now... sometimes when you connect via PC Suite somehow the phone book contacts cannot be accessed. I don't know why but I had to unplug the phone several times only I finally managed to get a clean backup.anyone lucky like me? Note: If they say the backup has errors, don't trust the log. The log told me that it saved my contacts but it didn't (due to the problem I just mentioned above) QUOTE(umang2 @ Apr 3 2009, 10:52 AM) Hi guys.... There is a backup function. It is the 1st icon that looks like a vault. When you backup, it backs up everything at one go including sms, settings, your files.. etcplease help me, i want to transfer my contact from PC (vista) to my tube.... currently need to click ok 1 by 1 to transfer....kinda tired. is there any method to transfer once all my contacts? please advise |

QUOTE(beez @ Apr 3 2009, 01:01 PM) You can buy an external GPS device which can communicate with your tube so that the GPS data is transmitted via bluetooth. Thats why its called bluetooth GPS. However, the tube itself has an integrated GPS, which you can only have access to when you purchase your Garmin XT. Meaning to say, Garmin XT can actually be used for free (if u already have an external bluetooth GPS device) but if you want to use the phone itself's GPS, you have to purchase Garmin XT for 99.90USD |

QUOTE(beez @ Apr 3 2009, 01:43 PM) You're welcome If you want an alternative, you can use Nokia Maps for free. The one that comes with your tube. That software allows you to use the integrated GPS. However, if you want voice navigation you need to buy a license. But if you got someone next to you, he/she can help you use it for GPS. QUOTE(Clavicus @ Apr 3 2009, 02:29 PM) Guys, i need help here. It is best for you to get your own Dev Cert to sign the application. I won't be posting any direct links but you can find a guide at my website here:I've been trying to install ShakeSMS from the FP, but i haven't been meeting any success in signing the sis file. I'm not very sure how this whole signing process works, so please go easy on me. I've been using SymbianSigned, but all of a sudden it doesn't work for me any more. Any pointers/tips for me on how to get that application installed? KnowMoreStuff.com |

This is random but I was just wondering about the battery life of the tube... here is what I found:
![]() Sauce oh well there goes all hopes for me to ask for battery replacement from NCC QUOTE(Clavicus @ Apr 3 2009, 03:49 PM) Awesome, thanks for tutorial. Is self-signing certs illegal? If this is not allowed in the forums, let me know and i'll remove the question. I have no idea seriously I tried Google and I can't find anything about dev certs whether they are legal or not...well its not related to hacking or cracking so I guess it should be fine This post has been edited by J-Slade: Apr 3 2009, 03:55 PM |
