The new Nokia Photo Browser is exactly like Cooliris...

repling to this threa now using my tube... Confirm i like the default browser as compared to opera but i hope to see more improvement in the upcoming update.. And yeah thank godness for qwerty keyboard..
They say the new nokia photo browser will be integrated in the phone as the default gallery viewer.

Everyone already has this app right? Free iSMS? Now there is an update v1.01

What is it?
Threaded SMS like iPhone style. Somehow I find this much more easier to use.



But you need to sign it though... best for users with their own Dev Cert because I heard for this app using SymbianSigned it won't work..

Note: How to delete sms?
Press and hold on the sms then it will prompt you (just like when you wanna kill a task)

Take out sim card and put back again? The problem is probably your phone is not registering your maxis settings...

Only the default internet browser will work. Opera mini does not support flash.

So far I've test it doesnt really eat the battery. The app memory print is very small only.

I plan to get my battery replaced when the warranty almost over...

just tell them my battery die very fast like within half a day. they're not gonna like fully charge your phone and force u to wait half a day at the centre right?

In fact everything leads to the dedicated button... the online promo video. the demo videos in the phone. the manual. the Nokia Centre... only ignorance can make you miss the button. In fact when you buy the phone, the screen protector even hints of the dedicated button

Oh thats ur question... well you know it is a touch screen phone after all. There is only 3 buttons, a camera button and the volume button. If wanna say put along the sides also i think the phone is out of space for the Play/Pause, Forward, Backward button u were saying..

Now that pretty much explains why there is a Dark Knight trailer that comes with the tube...

maybe you wanna put this on the FP to help ppl decide to buy the phone or not..

In fring, there is a setting to hide your phonebook contacts. Try to look for the option, its in there. Cos I also just fixed this issue yesterday on my tube.


I am going through this right now... sometimes when you connect via PC Suite somehow the phone book contacts cannot be accessed. I don't know why but I had to unplug the phone several times only I finally managed to get a clean backup.
Note: If they say the backup has errors, don't trust the log. The log told me that it saved my contacts but it didn't (due to the problem I just mentioned above)

There is a backup function. It is the 1st icon that looks like a vault. When you backup, it backs up everything at one go including sms, settings, your files.. etc

You can buy an external GPS device which can communicate with your tube so that the GPS data is transmitted via bluetooth. Thats why its called bluetooth GPS. However, the tube itself has an integrated GPS, which you can only have access to when you purchase your Garmin XT. Meaning to say, Garmin XT can actually be used for free (if u already have an external bluetooth GPS device) but if you want to use the phone itself's GPS, you have to purchase Garmin XT for 99.90USD

If you want an alternative, you can use Nokia Maps for free. The one that comes with your tube. That software allows you to use the integrated GPS. However, if you want voice navigation you need to buy a license. But if you got someone next to you, he/she can help you use it for GPS.
