It's funny if you look at Apple.com site, they just updated Malaysia at the Coming Soon section while it has been launched earlier yesterday.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 21 2009, 07:09 PM) Another missed opportunity. Clearly shows that your next phone will never be other phone and it will remain an iPhone, just like how your next computer will never be other computer but will remain a Mac. Apple builds revolutionary products and bring ease to usability and makes users feel happy and satisfied with it. Yup, the "veterans" are the fallback-to people they go to when there's problem. I believe the iPhones will be send over to Singapore for repairs, and Maxis will endeavour to loan a unit until your repairs are complete. Honestly though, during the 1 year period I had with the iPhone EDGE bought from Florida, and the 8 months (and counting) period with my current iPhone 3G, I had not a SINGLE PROBLEM, be it hardware, or software, to worry about. It gets put through its paces, going to places and situations where it is not IDEAL to operate (altitude, temperature extremes, etc), and still it soldiers on without a single hitch. Either I've been blessed with a super-iPhone, or that tells you about the built quality of the iPhone. Sure, peace of mind, local warranty, etceteras, but unless you're Johnny Knoxville doingd Jackass stunts with your iPhone, it lasts. In fact, personally, the iPhone has been the longest-running phone I've held on to. I've been rotating phones around and none of them last more than 6 months before gets sold off. To me, that alone is a testament to its longevity and usefulness. |
