hey i wanna ask can we ask quotation from differnt lawyer???i am buyin a property tat is rm110k can anyone tel me roughly how much is the lawyer fees,,thanks

My house price was 370,
i paid 15k

S&P is one transaction. Loan documentation with bank is another. Go figure.

i pay staggered.
after sign the s&p, i pay the price for the s&p alone.
after the bank release the payment, i pay the the balance..

officialy you must pay during the execution of the SPA

i think there is no limit for the disbursement fee.. it includes telephone charge, land search, transportation.. etc.

and at the same time, you may not be charged with all those additional fees at all.

There are 4 major fees:

1. Legal for SNP
2. Stamp Duty for SNP
3. Legal for loan
4. Stamp duty for loan

1 and 3 have the same payment schedule, 2 have a tiered schedule, 4 is fixed at 0.5%. These can't be avoided, ie someone has to pay, be it developer, bank or yourself.

The rest are the misc, transport, fax, land title search, deed of assignment, POA etc. All these can be negotiated. Actually 1 and 3 above also can

hey a banker inform me tat now the stamp duty for housing less than 250k is free for snp how true is it???

i thought can get 50% discount only.

i duno the alliance banker inform me when i apply my loan there. he say since march 1st house less than 250k will have free stamp duty..but i doubt it..anyone can clarify this...

i paid mine on the day i signed the s&p.... n i didn realize tat they charge me more for stamp duty until my mortgage broker told me....cos my property value less than rm 250k.....will nit to get my refund!!!
