you all can shout until you faces are blue, but the fact remains........there is NO educational establishment of excellence in msia......period......

all the ipts and ipta suffer from fatal defects........

the ipta's suffers from skew based on race and skin colour.....

and ipts suffers from skews based on you father's bank account balance.......

malaysia boleh lah......or is it bodoh in this case........

any foundation programme will somewhat restrict your options.......

compared to more widely accepted pre-u's like sam/ausmate or a-levels........

you are not going to get any sensible answer without specifying the course of study you want...........the cut offs varies significantly from course to course........

monash has some restriction on inter-campus transfers, it is NOT possible for some courses, eg medicine......

if you want a completely flexible course with open options for transfers, consider swinburne or curtin.........their sarawak campuses operates in the same way as their main campuses, down to the timetable and common exams, and you can opt to transfer to melbourne/perth in any combination......and direction too.......

Is the syllabus exactly the same? If it is then they should be the same. anyway thx for the info
inter-campus transfers and exchange programs are different right?

nah i'm only interested in universities located in Melbourne. Thanks for your feedback though.
swinburne is in melbourne......... smile.gif

transfer is moving completely to another campus.......

exchange is just doing 1 or 2 semesters at another campus, and you have to complete the final year in the home campus.......and you still pay home campus fees, in this case msia fees............

for swinburne, if say you stay 3 years at the msia campus, you pay msia fees.........and when you transfer the final year to melbourne, you just pay the final year fees in aud.......

How much can you cut down on by cooking?

As in, averagely how much does it cost to eat out there?

I'll be going over to the Parkville campus soon... no hostels so I gotta rent on my own (unless I wanna join the Melbourne Uni people). My concern is mainly on food since I'll be eating out in the city. sad.gif

if you buy supermarket offers, and cook yourself..........it can cost as low as 1/3 of eating out......

life is very different in oz, melbourne is an expensive city, expect to pay aud 8-10 for a simple foodcourt meal......and no, there are no mamaks there............ biggrin.gif

there are 3 components for monash msia medicine......the academic result, isat and interview........(most people who apply there have no issues with ielts)..........

they may interview you without the isat........but NO decision is made until ALL the required component are in, then they will make a decision, and offers will be issued........

anyone who walks away from the interview thinking he has a offer, conditional or unconditional, is dreaming..........
