okay. so what's your definition of high standard?
never ending assignments? all Ph.D holding lecturers?
and what do you think will suit you?
i am not sure about sunway and taylors, but since monash is Aus uni, it will have 1 long summer break, and 1 short winter break, total up to 4 months of hols, leaving 8 months of studies.
when people say its hard, from my point of view, it is because there isn't much time to do anything else and everything is cramped. imagine cramping all the syllabus into 8 months, whereas others(assuming they are not follow UK/Aus syallabus) are stretched over maybe 9-10 months.
sure 9-10 months one a bit more relaxing right? assignment due date also got extra 1-2 weeks.
but going back to your question, what kind of standards do you expect, and what is your type of uni?
Thanks for the reply.
Hmmm, okay, from my previous experience in my U, i had classes from 8am to 8pm with just one hour break between them and this insane timetable totally f***ed me up, all assignments due together, 3 mid term tests in one week and the final examinations squeezed together. the proportion for the finals occupied quite a lot in my course last time.
My stress management is really not that good. So i wanna know whether in Monash will i face that much of stress at one shot?
And i heard that in Monash, everything will be very independent, like, there will be no notes provided by the lecturers?
A staff from Sunway told me that Monash is more into research type right?
And i'd like to know how's the proportions of the coursework in Monash?
