Citi won't bankrupt, but market fear it would be nationalised, (like AIG) whereby, your existing shareholding will be diluted severely, even if its profit goes back to its glory day, but with diluted shareholding, the share price might not be back to its old day.

Don't mean it is not good. If turn out to be good you can gain 100% or 200% out of it.

If not mistaken, minimum tradable share in NYSE is 1 share. (tak ada so called lot)

what is toxic? today the fruit is fresh and good, (if economy continue to be poor and house price keep on dropping), then the fruit can turn into toxic next week.

Toxic asset = stupid decision years ago which lend to somebody which they have not affordability to pay back in the first place.

The toxic clearing scheme proposed received poor response until its dateline has to be extended.
