QUOTE(kmarc @ Mar 24 2009, 11:51 PM) As an involuntary unexpected long-term investor, I welcome any good news from LCL!!! TMI - Mobile market in m'sia is almost saturated, plus competitive from U-mobile and others. It is good for short term trading if u dare.Anyway, I'm getting confused. Should I buy TMI's or Maybank's rights issue (for long-term investment)? Maybank - Good buy at 3.5 and below, imagine with 1 pbb share u can convert to 2 maybank share, that mean the maybank share should be good to buy. pbb share is still high, it could burst as big will burst before it rebuild again, like citibank, gm, ....... |

QUOTE(skiddtrader @ Mar 25 2009, 10:30 AM) If you have 1 share, you are not entitled to buy anything. Which will ultimately make you lose because everyone will be subscribing to the shares. where and how to buy?Rights issue is like that, if you don't support it, then sell your shares. If you want to hold on to shares, then you better buy extra make sure you have enough to be entitled to the rights. Added on March 25, 2009, 9:31 am ASIABIO is MESDAQ counter, TA don't work with MESDAQ because of lack of volume. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Mar 25 2009, 05:22 PM) Now you only notice ar? this apply to maybank also, now the new TP is 2.45 and recommedation SELL.I put a funny scenario (which is happening in real life, surely not all case is like that, if you monitor it long enough) When share at 3.50, TP 4.00, recommendation: buy When share at 2.50 TP 3.50 Recommendation: buy When share at 2.00 TP 3.00 Recommendation : buy When share at 1.50 TP 2.00 Recommendation : hold When share at 1.00 TP 1.00 Recommendation : sell Then share bounce back from 1.00 to 4.00 after new bull run emerge after years time. ci green lioa. QUOTE(whizzer @ Mar 25 2009, 05:30 PM) I think analysts are like TV weather men. Sure they can tell you the weather four or five days ahead but as the day approaches it still rains when it should shine they also cari makan one!If the wind starts blowing another way, they will change their predictions. So have to be fair to them, their analysis is based on the data that they have that day. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Mar 26 2009, 11:11 AM) For UMNO election, recent result just means there are some political risk. important is pm post wat the ff want to see, the others can be ignored.NJ may not be get what he wants in the team, especially for second post and deputy chairman post. Yesterday result shows that it is far from conclusie especially the Youth post. If his prefer candidate are not elected, then he may have problem in cabinet reshuffle. Let wait and see how this political scene evolves. Added on March 26, 2009, 10:13 amThere is one bad news in the market, Maybank and TMI combined right issue will mop up 10 billion liquidity from the market. As reported, EPF and Khazanah will take up significant chunk in it. So EPF might not buy a lot in the market for near term. This post has been edited by sampool: Mar 26 2009, 10:18 AM |

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Mar 26 2009, 11:53 AM) My guess is anyone wanna sell resorts probably might want to wait until this crazy buying trend starts to fade... when start to fade, where ur got time to sell already. with a sudden jump like this and serious gravity defying stunt, i think holding on would prove to be more profitable... indeed resorts didnt dissapoint at all for the pass few days.. |
