QUOTE(kb2005 @ Apr 4 2009, 07:56 PM) Haha..not necessary. Small risk small gain.RM1K -> 10% profit = RM100. Enough for 10plates of KFC..hehe But usually wise trader will trade more than RM2.8K average to cover the minimum brokerage fees of RM12. |

QUOTE(Ranny @ Apr 4 2009, 09:35 PM) in my case, there is no need. They just want your deposit. 0.05%? for normal rates or day-trade rates?And you want their 0.05% brokerage ratesĀ If apply to normal trades, it is very tempting. Compared to 0.42% for normal rate in RHBInvest. Thats almost 800% cheaper. walao.. For goreng purpose can use jupiter while for long term (safer) use RHBInvest This post has been edited by dreams_achiever: Apr 4 2009, 09:44 PM |

QUOTE(kb2005 @ Apr 5 2009, 11:12 AM) Be careful. Dun over optimistic. There are 3 elections ahead on Tuesday. Market rally will pause awaiting for election results. If BN lose all 3 elections, imagine what will happen to KLSE? DOOM! This post has been edited by dreams_achiever: Apr 5 2009, 12:27 PM |

QUOTE(sampool @ Apr 5 2009, 02:37 PM) Haha..very interesting.I bet 1-2. Predict BN will lose 2 elections while win 1 To make more interesting: 3-0 = 1000 -> Pay 1:100 2-1 = 950 -> Pay 1:50 1-2 = 900 -> Pay 1:25 0-3 = 850 -> Pay 1:10 |

QUOTE(mo_meng @ Apr 6 2009, 07:27 PM) My RHBInvest minimum brokerage fee is RM12. I opened my account before it was revise up. Thats was before Bursa increase to minimum RM28 if not mistaken early of 2008. Afterwards, most of brokers revise back to RM12. Maybe you need to consult your remisiers. Its negotiable. If failed, change to other brokers. Most of all brokers offer minimum RM12 d. This post has been edited by dreams_achiever: Apr 6 2009, 08:30 PM |

QUOTE(kmarc @ Apr 6 2009, 10:41 PM) The probability of KLSE reaching a new low is very much diminished. It was previously predicted that KLSE might just hit 650-750 in Q2 or Q3 '09. However, with all the stimulus packages being introduced, it is highly unlikely to happen. Note the word "highly unlikely" as nothing is impossible..... Yup, totally agreed.China economy data + US housing data has been slightly recovered from last year stimulus plan that introduced. It slowly taking effect. Market now are trying to form bottom. I believe 6.5K - 7K will be bottom range for DOW Jones. Same to 750 - 800 KLCI. Just my personal opinion though |

Forgot about Aseambankers, Rm28, stamp fees..
The important things was whether you will gain to offset those all costs. lolz Better change to other IBs that offer lower minimum charges. No need to continue debating on it.. Aseambankers suck. |
