Hi all,
I wanna ask several question bout UTeM. BTW, I'm a sem 4 polytechnic student. My question is,
1) I'm now studying dip in electronic eng (computer) in polytech. So what course is suitable for me?
2) I'm graduating polytech Jun next year. So, can I apply for UTeM with my 5th sem result? Bcoz usually polytech release full transcript in August and the UPU application for diploma student close at end of February. I don't wanna waste my time waiting another year to continue for degree.
3) How much credit I can transfer there?
4) Did all students can stay in hostel until finish study there? Or they need to "sewa rumah" after some year staying at hostel?

QUOTE(reign226 @ May 19 2009, 08:59 PM) Erm, electronic eng can consider FKE or FKEKK. Google is your friend. Not sure about the application procedures but most of the students are from Poli over here, so I dun see any problems. As usual its best to contact the uni directly for admission procedures. Credit transfer is on a sem by sem review basis. Some of my friends can transfer, some cannot, this depend on the Dean in charge. Cross your fingers and pray. But at least will be able to transfer 1 year worth of credits. Compulsory to stay for 2 years, after that they boot you out unless you apply to stay back in hostel. Very easy for malays to get their application approved, from what I heard so should be no problems for u. of course most prefer to stay outside because its less oppressive atmosphere and we can pasang our own internet. Thanks for da info dude. I was hoping that ex-poli student who study at UTeM to answer it for me. I you don't mind, can U ask some of your friend( ex-poli student, if you have one ) for behalf of me?

QUOTE(corallinkz @ Jan 24 2011, 12:34 PM) they're all in 1 faculty, named as FKEKK, all are basically almost same for 1st and 2nd year, they're more into specific by 3rd and 4th year. computer engineering is good, but you need to be more hardworking as they're 2 killer subjects as far as i heard of, which is computer programming (BENC) and electrical analysis (BENT), kinda of bit hard for some students all those course is under my UPU application list. Hoping UTeM can give me chance to study there. With only 3.01 CGPA for my diploma, I don't harap too much.....

But I want to know what option do I have for part time study in melaka have. TQ ... As far as I know, they only have part time study for Postgrad courses only. The class will be conduct on weekends. For Bach degree program, I believe they didn't open it. Well, u still can consider UTM Space. Skudai is not that far...
