yes u have to pay for it.....for the first month..once u registered u will be given 1 month xbox live gold trial....after that u have to purchase it to play online....there is some seller in garage sales > games selling the prepaid card for it....price = rm70 for 3 months , rm200 for 1 year.....yea it is pricey but to tell u the excitement of playing xbox live is priceless
