Yeah, did a test with my 850 with V-Power Racing a few days back. Definitely smoother and faster, especially noticeable at lower revs

Pumped RM15 and started speeding around

I had a mishap today. My car's air-con would be running cold, and all of a sudden it would blow out hot air for no particular reason. I had it sent to my usual air-con mech and he said that the radiator was clogged, with the inlet and outlet hoses old and worn. He proposed a reasonable amount to get it done. True enough that it was old, but it wouldn't suddenly affect the air-con in such cases would it?
Despite being doubtful, I trusted him and left my car at his garage to do the hose replacements and flushing.
Later on I came back and checked the car, and I was surprised to see a new thermometer switch added in. I inquired about the item that I didn't ask for and he told me that the thermometer switch was stuck. Now that symptom really made sense to my initial problem - wouldn't it had been better if he thoroughly inspected the car first before actually judging the cause?
It really set me in a bad mood today. Granted that my radiator and hoses needed flushing and replacements, but I paid about twice the price to fix the air-con problem I had. Some might say that prevention is better than cure (and I agree somewhat) but I have yet to see any mech initially quote a figure that ACTUALLY ends up on the bill.
