anyone here tried to change the headlamp bulb before... ?
can anyone tell me how to change... ? =)
*
yeah. very simple. you open your bonnet hood. then you see the headlamps there, there is one socket and a rubber cover. you pull out the socket, after than you pull out the rubber cover. and then there is a pin holding the bulb. you have to unhook the pin then you can pull out the bulb. then u can replace the bulb, replace the rubber cover and plug in back the socket. DONE. but take note when you are replacing the bulb. make sure the bulb socket leg are in place before u hook back the pin.

the kancil u mention just now is over priced. even my kancil 1999 manual 660cc i can sell for 6-7k. i think that 97 auto u mention should worth around 5k. 9k can get a nice condition kancil turbo. hehehehe.

or a 2003 unit 660cc kancil.

wow!!! only 3 speed saja kah... tsk tsk tsk...manual got 4 speed?..or 5 speed?... hmm.gif
*
haha. early auto versions had 3 speed only. later versions had 4 speed auto gearbox already. im not sure since which model but definitely since year 1999 models already have 4 speed auto gearbox. even early manual kancil had 4 speed only. since year 1999 production kancil had 5 speed manual gearbox already. hope this helps.

carb punya baru patut tune right  sweat.gif
cause carb tune will kept run and change after period of time..
*
LOL! im not sifu. im just like you guys also, still in the learning process. there are even more sifu in here. but all sorok sorok only. hehehe^^

about carb tuning. yes, its only screws and nuts you have to play with. you can tune yourself too. IF you know what you are doing. or else, just leave it to the professionals to do it. u will end up screwing up or if you get it right, you are in the sweet spot. HAHA! but my advice just leave it to the professionals.

about the guy tuning carb in lowyat, the RM 70 one, i see his comments all quite good. not sure whether is a good deal anot but hopefully someone in here will try his service and give us feedback. but i thought he only fiddle with proton carbs? hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif
QUOTE(fool1988 @ Nov 26 2010, 12:19 AM)
Btw..another reason i pump 32 psi is because my car is 660c manual 5 gear totally stock..
and always full load with people..so pump more higher made my car more easily to move..
i pump 28psi i feel my car is hardly to move when i pressing petal but of cause..pump more psi u need sacrified ur comfortable and car will be too bumpy lah..
*
no matter i pump more or less pressure, also the same. it will be uncomfortable because im using lowered spring. haha. the reason i pump less also is got better grip on the road. and most of the time im single driver, so yeah, screw comfort. LOL!

btw, is 600cc kancil crank pulley same with the one on L2s?

my temp always gets quite high lately during jams. coz my piston ring gone case already. =.=!

before this temp was ok, now it gets quite hot during jams. thats why my car has to constantly moving or else u can see the temp shoot up like hell in just a mere few minutes.

jonnycartoon,
wah so many choice out there, l2, l5, l6,l7,l9. turbo or na. 3 or 4 cylinder. and yours 850 can upgrade to 1.0cc kelisa engine somemore....
tommi88,
lets poison him kau kau to transplant and mod hehehe
*
LOL! want meh? just join then poison him dy ah? later he cannot resist then tapau lah that time. xD

if u want best fuel economy and power, i think kelisa/kenari engine would be a better choice. but bare in mind there are alot of parts u will need to source urself like the drive shaft and stuff. im not sure whether can use back 850cc driveshaft anot. need other sifu to confirm as well. same goes to fuel tank.

u want hassle free modification, we highly recommend you L2s. cheap maintenance, easy to convert, easy to maintain, spare parts all over the place, power anytime u want. auto or manual is owners preference.

extreme modding? kelisa/kenari engine with supercharger. NS performance at shah alam can do this for u. HAHAHA! but make sure ur pocket must be real deep for this.

cheers mate. and also welcome to the club. woohoo!

nope..no sports rim..or probably if got oso removed by the shop person... tongue.gif so only being provided by standard spec..

660cc's fuel consumption good?..i mean for city driving.
*
if u r a single driver most of the time, its good. but if u have passengers, just go for 850cc. =D

QUOTE(COOLPINK @ Dec 4 2010, 06:57 PM)
hehe. he wants to transplant he start first mah. we just help him along onli..... tongue.gif
anyway another thing to consider if you wan best fuel economy and power is go for manual transmission.

wah kelisa/kenari 1.0 with supercharger keng lo. saw a kancil l2s mod tat day 190hp 1.8bar boost, crazy man.

i will be getting back my kancil next week with new gearbox and top overhaul done. Hope i will get better fuel economy now.
*
huhuhuhu.....

we "assist" him along the way only right?

*poison kaw kaw*

Fuh! 190hp. thats alot. i assume this is on engine right?

hahaha! syok lah bro! can pish pish around already. =D

yes. you would have to bring ur car to JPJ for inspection and approval of transplant. after approve already u will need to inform ur insurance company that u have changed engine and update them with the latest engine serial number.

L2 might have only 660cc 12V, but it packs a punch. hell, even L9 has only 660cc. thats a powerful car. even Boon X4 has only 1000cc with turbo charged. thats the thing about K-car. small engine capacity, packs a punch with turbo. wooohoooo!
