lol@arguments over spelling.
its OYAJI btw(as far as spelling concerned). im confident 200% its not oyachi. im studying engineering in japan(in japanese too) and i speak both formal japanese and slangs. as for meanings, it can mean anything from old man to father (its commonly used for father though) |

well of course when it comes to pronunciation it can be alotta things.
like "ga" some people pronounce it as "nga" BUT the correct, proper japanese word IS oyaji. おやじ、 お=O や=YA じ=JI, it sounds like oya-gee because it is that. lol im not gonna talk about this anymore i only posted since the dude who said oyachi was confident as hell and i dont want people to believe that since its wrong. ROFL anyway i assume the other sf4 thread is dead? i posted quite a lot and no one replied |

QUOTE(Phyurix @ Apr 29 2009, 11:33 AM) Heres a question, since we are getting a smooth game to local players, Console vs Arcade? For me its Console LOL as far as im concerned at the moment, arcade experience is still 97846982369 times much better than console.is it really that smooth back in malaysia? i doubt so. |

Ive a few friends on psn in Japan, and one of them has a really good boxer. I usually win against his boxer like 4-5 times before he got me figured out (or maybe he's warmed up) and beat me 9 out of 10 times. I agree it can get frustrating to have a crazy losing streak but thats why lets say after 4-8 fights, he'll change characters to those he's not THAT good at. I, too change my characters every once in awhile.
So maybe, just for example, Tristan kicks ass with Ken but when he's at 6~10-0, he changes his character to characters he's not that kickass at , im not saying pick a character you know nothing about, maybe pick a character that you know his moves/combos but your execution isnt as flawless. That'll ease your opponent a bit, making it somehow fun. Just my 2 cents though. edit: and to add, i totally agree with fighting against better opponents to get better yourself. What i said above is merely one of the many ways to enjoy playing casuals because sometimes you had a bad day and you just need a good fight, not a massive beating LOL. Added on May 11, 2009, 11:50 am QUOTE(Darkstalker @ May 9 2009, 09:25 PM) I hate the HRAP3 quick disconnects. lol hrap3 quick disconnects made my life way easier. modded 6 buttons in less than 30mins w00t. or maybe im just good with tools lol.I must be retarded. This thing's bloody difficult for me. EStimated time spent on stick so far: 2 hours+. How many buttons modded: 2 (thanks to the super tight disconnects). @_@ This post has been edited by brastel: May 12 2009, 11:25 AM |

QUOTE(MasterAlvin @ May 20 2009, 07:43 PM) best or not, the attacking beast Daigo is always my fav player to watch. hahaha. he knows mind tricks, maybe he trained with yoda before. lol thanks, yeah i think ive improved a bit too. but still not enough to beat a beasting 9000GP gouki and hey brastel, my brother thinks you have improved lots since the last time we saw you. your mix up strats and defense has improved a lot! nice! btw, i've finally got a chance to advance my Grade in C.mode today after a winning streak. those frustrating links (in lag) for Dictator just comes out without any problems. Hail green bars! |
