just wondering has anyone here completed the hard trial with all the characters?
It makes me nearly crazy.....some moves sounds impossible.

complete characters:  ryu, ken, chun li, guild, honda, zangief, dhalsim, balrog, blanka, akuma, gouken , sagat, m.bison

incomplete : seth, abel, viper, rufus, elf, vega  (need advice )

between madcatz sf4 fighting stick (NOT the TE edition) & Hori RAP3, which one is better?

I m using MadzCat SE too and so far it works fine. Maybe the quick connect attached to the buttons in ur stick were loosen. open up and push it back and it should be fine.

anyway, will be upgrading it wif seimitsu parts once they arrived

anyone know where i can get a new HRAP3? not having much fun playing the game with a controller. i checked garage sales and none of them have it, only madcatz SE and TE.

probably one of the newer batches since mad catz would be continuing manufacturing them due to high demands

just got street fighter IV. As someone who started playing the fighting genre with tekken II, III, SC IV, I must say that SF is a whole different kind of beast.

  Way back in the early 90s I never did got into street fighter since I never could figure out how to do the hadouken combo.Now with SFIV I finally got the hang of it lol! Getting street fighter IV finally made me understand what did those egm reviewers meant by dial-a-combo back when they reviewed SFIII:Alpha.

Having a fighting game that focuses on stick movement felt really fresh and interesting after growing up on fighting games that focuses on rapid button dialing. Gimme time to train with CPU first then I'll open up to network fights. I hope they're not laggy?

What a great decade to be an SF fan!

• The right age for me to save and afford my own gear (as a kid, blowing my allowance on arcades is no fun)
• Interactive communities that actually listens (Capcom-Unity... SFHD fan service, SF4 console char poll, etc)
• YouTube
• 2 local tournaments in a month, and more to come
• SRK Tech Talk (as a kid I couldn't give a damn whenever the arcade technician opens up the panels. Today, I fuss over the Vewlex standard!)
• Abundance of HRAP3s and TEs now - stockouts don't last long too thanks to China
• PayPal, eBay, Amazon, vPost, comGateway to bring to our shores what was near-impossible to get the last decade
• Multi-platform games - but I just wish this site opened up a section just for SF - like what gameaxis did so more detailed discussions can be held. Er wait, (looks at GAX)... nahhhh I don't think so. Before the SRK database wipeout I was quite active there.

very possibly true cuz sometimes , u just do what u need to do, don't really think about the absolute motion is correct or not ... old habit, muscle memory or what ever you call it ... maybe i'm just doing it the harder way LOL
