This can be considered as a twin thread to the Malaysian Sim Racers one, but will focus more on rFactor and the mods itself, including new releases and such.
What IS rFactor? rFactor is a vehicle based simulator that was developed by Image Space Incorporated (ISI). Fully moddable, and robust, it's the simulator of choice for many racing teams, including F1 teams such as BMW.Sauber, Toyota and Williams F1.

What do I need to play it? Although a gamepad will do, honestly a steering wheel is a must, and FFB support would make it much better.
What kind of cars/tracks would I expect in this game? While rFactor comes with some basic cars and tracks, modders have added hundreds more to it. Just head up to rFactor Central and check out their database. F1 cars from the 70's, Touring Cars, Muscle, and tracks such as the Nordchlife at the Nurburgring are just the tip of the iceberg
Why do I want to play it? Think of it as a challenge. It has a different approach from the arcade style racers that you see in the market. Learning and trying to master how to be fast and yet gentle to the car would give you a clearer picture on how a real life driver does it.
Ok, sounds interesting. How can I get it? It cost ~RM140 and can be bought online from rFactor.net

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2009 0.9 - Released Birkuc has released a first virtual version of the Yas Marina Circuit Abu Dhabi, a brand new venue that will host the Formula One season finale 2009.
Based on La Plata’s Grand Prix 4 track, Birkuc has fixed several things and added new details to the rfactor version, below is a HD preview video for you to check out.
Like usual with those very early versions of new Grand Prix tracks, the track isn’t very pretty nor polished yet. But if you´re keen to try the brand new track, this one’s for you.

well go to the malaysian sim racers forum @ http://forum.malaysiansimracers.com and try asking if anyone with a credit card can help you. I used their help to buy mine
Is there official rFactor documentation or game manual? I don't understand some of the illustration shown on the "LCD information" during race. For example, the screen which shows the wheels have lots of bars in pink and green colour. I have no precise idea what does it represent.
It is possible to use keyboard but Traction Control on Low, and Auto-Clutch On. If your rear is sliding/over-steer, enable the settings of ABS/Stability Control. It worked.

Every copy of rfactor installation should be installed with a manual. Check ur game directory.

Yup...and play with rates as well to simulate throttle feathering.
