how to connect wii to lcd monitor?, noob question

Most compatible way to use without using PC is VGA box (especially one of those 1080i/p-ready one with YPbPr connectors), since it can upscale and convert signal to monitor native signal.
VDigi cable is an option, but it's not 100%. use TV card, good luck. Also framedrop and depending on card (i.e. whether u using professional BlackMagic Intensity Pro card or cheapo USB dongle), lag and quality issue. I use my PS2 on a Mac before getting my Wii and TV.
