1.5 can rev higher.....
4G92p rev cut at 6.75k, no matter change what transmission also same 1 as the rev cut is already set at that rpm, anyway, after 6.5K also no power adi, so just shift at 6.5K

QUOTE(812799 @ Mar 25 2009, 12:09 AM) confirm or not ? lolz show ur dyno result look c look c ... not advisable 2 rev till rev cut coz ur torque is going down hill even b4 rev cut ... base on this graph , notice the torque starts going down @ approximately 5k , so by hitting around 5.6k , it's time 2 shift so that u will maintain the peak of the torque 2 push the car ... My car and yours is diff, thats all I can say This post has been edited by shinjite: Mar 25 2009, 01:26 AM

I better put rev cut as well although I know my engine can support up till 10K due to balancing

QUOTE(812799 @ Mar 25 2009, 10:32 PM) that's not the point le aduh , i'm not comparing a 1.6 with 1.8 my point is , no matter ur rev cut at 6.5k or 7k , u really do not want 2 rev till there , urm how 2 explain aer ... no need to worry, my engine has been balanced till 10K rpm and my max torque and max HP are only attainable around the 6k range, that is why I say mine and yours is diff because my setup is that way

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Mar 26 2009, 03:27 AM) any significant difference besides knowing ur car can rev higher safely??... such as engine feels lighter climbing up the revs without hesitation??... did he port ur crankshaft as well?? yup its lighter to the touch.....response better as well Crankshaft he said he lightened it a bit (dunno what else he do some more)

fark, yesterday went to lowyat, on the way there, rear left tyre punctured Found out today inner sidewall there bocor, fark, don't even know how the heck that happen. Air pressure all was okay, !$!#%!#@%^@$ End up must get new tyre, can't patch.
Then today service the brakes because jam and ended up changing the handbrake cable because right side 1 pulak jam, can't release properly. !#$!#%^!@#
On the spot 2 days only a lot of cash fly liao, today do brakes and everything plus original handbrake cable RM220, tomorrow new tyre plus alignment and balancing again, another RM2xx sure fly KNN betul....
