5)Computing(i like it , even though i haven't seen the syllabus )-comment on it..(any tuition class or school that offers this subject??) icon_idea.gif
6)Malay Language (i got A2 in SPM,but STPM BM should b Harder,so any comment?? rolleyes.gif

anyway form 6 students are allowed to take up to 5 subjects... smile.gif

In Between , i plan to take IT course in Future..
i've checked at APIIT i muz have 2 passes at STPM level and 4 credit passes at SPM..

school offer certain subjects but you can sign up the subject you want on your own.....self study and they usually will not bother you......my school some students sign up for seni lukis even though school didnt offer...so they just have to go for tuition claseses.

Er? I really don't see any point taking 5 subjects other than for self improving/satisfaction purpose. Yes, it'll be a really big boost(for scholarships) if you can get 5 As. If you don't have the confidence to do that..DON'T.
But i have to admit that getting 5As is gonna be a killer and worth a praise. But that's all. In another words, it's quite pointless infact it might drag your other 4 grade down. What if you end up with 4A and 1C?
It's the same with SPM, 10A1 1A2<10A1 which is absurd dry.gif

I don't know about other schools but mine offered computer..It's Malacca High School.
An easy subject(I heard) might work like an intro if you r into IT.
Anyway, as an ex-STPM student..I say take up subjects like maths.
It might be required for certain courses in IPTA unlike History, Business, BM, etc.

take 4 subjects smile.gif if you think you're a superhero then go ahead and take 5 hehe.

yes, unfortunately you have to self study. Ask your seniors around for a reliable tutor, and make sure the tutor knows about the marking scheme etc.

Maths S consists of 2 papers. Paper 1 is about 10 times harder than add math in SPM, i joke not tongue.gif Paper 2 is much easier, provided you pay attention to your teacher's techniques because there are rules and ways to understand it better. I got a C+ for paper 1 but A for paper 2 xD that's how different the two math papers are. Make sure you have at least a somewhat good foundation in add maths to try STPM maths. (and make sure you're hardworking too)

I did STPM English Literature too. Quite fun smile.gif but stressful as there is no time to write. I live in Selangor so I'm not sure if my tutor's contacts would be useful to you.

well.. last time i plan to take computing besides the 4 subjects.. i went to ask my teacher, she said it is ok for me to sign up myself n self study. the questions r so easy after i read the the past years questions.. however, after my teacher check for me, she say it is impossible for me to take at my school because computing consist of 1 or 2 projects.. sth like a lab for science subjects.. my school do not hav any teachers qualify to supervise me.. n there is no teachers eligible to do so around my area.. so i end up giving up the "additional" A.. lol..

so before taking any extra subjects that requires self study, make sure u ask properly before signing up.. good luck..

Math S is definitely not as hard as Math T ( only paper 1 is same ... paper 2 is much much easier... )

English Literature? wow... i guess ur english is great. ^^ go ahead then...

Business studies ( pengajian perniagaan ? ) then it's kinda like a mixture of economics ( more ) & accounts ( abit )

BM ( this is freaking hard as u have to interpret the literature like u learn in form 4-5 except they gave u the excerpt then u interpert the whole thing from A-Z )
