My Xbox 360 got striked by 1ROD with error E74, online source said that GPU got over heated. So, I performed the X-clamp solution, it live but after 30 minutes of game play. The 1ROD/error E74 came back again & I already perform the solution twice with in a day.

I remember that I over heard a conversation when buying games, where the buyer said that his Xbox 360 also got striked by 1ROD/E74 & he plan to send to the seller for repair. The seller said that the 1ROD appear due to GPU over heated, need to change a new GPU & the cost for changing it is RM250 with 1 month warranty only. So, he advice us to play as hard as possible during the warranty period.I was thinking, where they get the new GPU? Is not like you can get it from a hardwareshop.

How the Jsaper set? Any news about it get strike by 3ROD? Will it be better if I just buy a new Xbxo 360 Arcade Jasper set at the price of RM1000 or send my current Xbox 360 for repair at the price of RM250 but with 1 month warranty only. Which 1 will be a better choice?

BTW, my Xbox 360 is a 1 year old mod Falson set, can't send to Microsoft for warranty.

Evirober,he said that it's modded,so he can't send it to Microsoft for warranty claim.
I think you should go with sending it in to replace the GPU,that's about the most sensible thing to do.
It should last for a long time.

You know Mine got RROD 6 times since last november I mean manufactured date september 5th 2006!? WTF!?

Yeah, a few. However all of them have xclamped their 360 before.
That's why tech2 no longer accepts those xclamped 360s.
