i have 2 hdd,which is 20gb and 120gb

i already put the 20gb on the new xbox .it could read all the data
but i can;t move it.it say u cannot move the hdd file to the same hdd(something like that)i wnt to move it to the internal memory.i believed all jasper has internal memory.

What did you used to read the HDD?

They must be drag & drop to PC 1st and copy back to new HDD if you're using xplorer360 extreme 2.

remember to make an image for partition 2 and copy back as you cannot copy paste this partition and it's actually xbox emulator which is essential for playing old xbox games.

i just take that 120gb out,and put in the 20gb xbox hdd..it can read..

i don't hve explorer and dunno how to transfer to pc.it doens't hve usb cable for that hdd

i know what u are trying to do, but its best u get yr self a Memory Unit. or else no 1 could help you on the transfering.

u cannot copy files to internal memory that u are speaking of.

You took out the HDD and connect to your SATA controller. I'm not sure if the USB SATA can work and you must use Xplorer360 extreme 2, Open your drive and copy "content" folder from partition 3 to another drive.

The point is you MUST use your HDD as an escrow point and no direct transfer allowed.

You're also required to make an image of partition 2 and transfer it to your new HDD or else your xbox360 will lost it's xbox emulator.

You can google the Xplorer360 extreme 2 to download.

Bear in mind that doing anything other than stated will corrupt your partition 3.

the internal memory is not used by us even if its an arcade set. 256/512 should be above 100 im not too sure, why not you call back to the shop that you bought the new xbox, asked if he is able to borrow you a MU so you could do it in his shop with yr Xbox over there? i did that for my 2nd box.

you can save yr GT like yr save game to the MU, you first have to move yr GT from 20gb to MU then to 120gb HDD, so your save game could recognize yr GT. so its GT before save game.

for the MU u might be able to find a used unit? check the pasarmalam post & GH garage sales.

there is 2 ways for you to do this, first its my way, 2nd would be bro navigator way. his might be a little bit more technical

and 1 more,if i already install the game to hdd,
example like fifa10,i already install in hdd.
then when i insert the dics. ..it will play from the dics or hdd if it auto boot ??

On this method, some game saves cannot be transferred.

1 more thing.i have 2 profile in 1 hdd.but if i change to other profile ,there are no gamesave

example
profile 1-fifa10 manager mode matchday 5
but when i changed to
profile 2- must start a new manager mode ..

yeah like navigator says, sometime some games had problem moving, but anyway you should delete those games that u install on HDD first b4 you do the transfer.

No problem in copying both profile, just make sure u copy everythings in the HDD, its gonna take awhile if u have lots of games save/add on achievement is tied to GT.

game installed on HDD its auto read from HDD disc is just for verification.

er as for the games auto run when u insert the disc, cant really remember u should be able to disable it around settings area.

the multiple profile function its used for more than a single user, u woundnt want yr little bro to continue play yr FIFA10 Manager mode when u are not around & it got saved bcoz of auto save function in the game? so thats why if u have Live! u could set password on yr account which in this chase no 1 would mess up yr save games & it protects yr MS Points being used for unknowed reason.

i was thinking of moving my profile + save games to the MU instead of storing on the HDD because HDD can fail (2.5" spinning disk) compared to a flash disk

can i know why must dlete installed game on hdd first before paste the game save.//can corrupt ar ?
this is really annoying.i think i just wanna giveup transfering all those game saves

about the profile,i already recover my old gamertag via xbox live.achievement everything got like perfect.its just the game saves

that auto run,i know that already.it is in the system setting.

It will not die along. they will remain there. but if you run them on a new console you need to do a license transfer. The method is available @ www.xbox.com

Added on December 13, 2009, 7:21 pmIf you don't delete the game, the game will become too big to be able to transfer thru the MU which at max 512MB only.

The gamesave WILL NOT COMBINE and there's no hope for that as xbox liev Gamertag is designed with only 1 user per account and no gamesave sharing too.

Microsoft did that on purpose to steer away gamers from cheating.

Well to me, i sometimes used my MU to store my new profile even some few save games there.

different saves for each profile was also made because there is games like DeadRising, or plenty more games that you cant save. its auto saved over a chapter. so if you are at chapter 5, yr bro wanted to start a new game with your profile it makes you gotta start the game again & again because there isnt any chapter jump for that game?

if you have played DeadRising then you will know, game ends even when you die once, then you had to start new game again, but the XP & items bring forward. if you are 5 hours in game yr bro did a stunt kills you, you think you wanna start playing again?
