it happened in the morning 2 am ... the fellas just finished clubbing (i think) ... it was raining ... if you're the driver, what will u do? ... speed? ...

there was a lorry involved too ... parked illegally ...

well ... RIP

How sure are you that it was parked illegally and not emergencily?

QUOTE(joe_mamak @ Mar 16 2009, 05:29 PM)
Speeding doesn't kill.  It's the sudden stopping that kills.

Newton's 3rd law killed them. Newton's fault!!!

why if there's a lorry, it's lorry's fault?

it's the car owner's fault too. not fitting airbags for backseat passenger.

I wanna bash the driver. mad.gif

Anyway, speeding DOES kill. Don't think becuz you're pro car driver doesn't means everyone else on the road is. Nobody can avoid an accident if it's another driver's fault, and in the event of a crash. Your chances of surviving when you're driving at 90km/h is most likely higher than when you're speeding at 140km/h.

Today youngster...really shouldn't be given a driving license in the first place. I hope the driver will have his license gantung for rest of his freaking life.

Takes years for the case to settle. Like the case in PJ, section 14. Car jumped kerb and killed someone at a mamak. Still on appeal, I think.

most likely criminal case alone will take around 5 yrs, civil case another 5 years...

adjournments, sisatan police, visit crime scene, etc...

each and everyday the parents will be reminded of their children';s loss either because being called up by the courts, lawyers or police...

there will be no closure until than...

and both sides will continue to live in pain and guilt for yrs to come.
