btw,about the teamspeak thingy,can they/us provide service for chat as well?kinda like IM...would be better to use teamspeak during gaming & the IM thing for 'recruiting' players to join a LAN game such as cod4 etc. no need to promote like pasar malam to 'recruit' players eh? just an idea..

i'd recommend using BORGchat.. at my college block,we used this to do all sort of things...
name it - calling players for dota/cs/hawx/l4d session,chat,spam,send files and more... it's good for use,and it's free!

our original setting were like the one i posted on that seating thread. but then, i do ask them to reserve another 20 more seats.. but it would be in the 6th island.. there's 5 slot filled left another 15 slots free to choose

i think he was talking more about using it for pickup games. sounds interesting, if you want to bring it up with the organizers, Shah, maybe you could. if not i'll talk to them about it when i check with the them about the teamspeak server.

depends on the settings mate, if you use the uber 25.7kBps settings for digital VoIP quality of course it'll be huge. but if you use the 7.2kBps speex codec its much more manageable besides, we've got 100mBps anyways the TS servers are for those games where you want to talk with your teams, or just chat with your mates, and need your hands free to do other stuff (which is almost any real time game).
