[WTA] What loan to apply?, To buy a piece of land for dream home..

Hello Everyone.. I'm planning to buy a piece of land to build my dream home.. and is wondering what loan can i apply for that purpose.. i want to know wat loan to apply, which bank is offering better rate, maximum period i can take.. and in YOUR OWN personal opinion which is bank is better.. Thank you for ur info and help is much appreciated..

Thank you for ur info and help is much appreciated..  Property Loan i.e Housing loan. It will be treated the same as housing/shophouse loan. Just that the margin is gonna be lower and the interest rate might not be the same as normal housing loan. Maybe just a 70-80% margin. But that depends on the bank too. Some bank require you to have the building plan as well before they actually give you the loan. And they also might impose a terms stating that you need to build something on that piece of land within a certain period.

wat kind of land? location? agri land? Commercial land? any cost of construction plan? its not easy to say to buy a land then buy... further more rates for lands almost the same for the rest of the banks, margins is UR ONLY MAIN CONCERN . from wat i know to finance purchase a land BLR is always + not -.

When i was still in Ambank, i did some refinancing on land. BLR - 1.3% or something like that IF it is true that most bank are giving BLR + , then go to Ambank... land financing rate is still BLR - x.xx , but the margin, probably 70% max
