Hah. Good to see that the interest for zoids is still alive in malaysia. long live zoids! I have been out of the scene for a while but am pretty glad that the current released has slowed down. At least got a chance to catch up on older stuff. Ed, mtv place is LAKEFIELDS la. Lets meet at litt tak warehouse first, then can go to my place.

gundam76, take it easy with the putty man. otherwise, go gila trying to fix every seam line. Kudos to you if you do though...

I will still "cheat" a little, especially where I can enlarge the seam so it looks more like a standard gap in the mecha.

Added on March 20, 2009, 2:39 pmgundam 76,

nice clean job. having fun with putty yet? haha. As for me, I always start with the head first, as you say its the most critical part so normally, I will give xtra attention to that area. one thing about the hmm saber tho, you really need to plan out the painting process as unlike MG gundams you cant build the internal structure first then add the armour plating later...sigh. more masking work then.

Cool info Ed.

I knew the answers as well (remember we battled with the cyberdrive zoids at my place the last time?) but did not know about the RC kong. Very interesting.

Ahtiven,
PLEASE PLEASE TRANSLATE! are you using any kind of translation software or have you been taking jap language classes? haha

Guys,

Check out this guys site. Its an old school zoider modifier. Amazing stuff. At first, I thought he was only good at restoration work but going down the line, he really put a lot of effort in modifying and adding additional moving elements. The site is in jap but you can go to the google translated version zoid mods.

Go to the message from production factory section.

folks ,
Speaking of the gathering this 12 april, I would like to make a small request to everyone. This is not compulsory, but would appreciate it very much.

Can everyone bring along a godos shield liger and a saber tiger if you have one?

Could all of you bring along a digital camera and tripod? Will share with you want I am working on in a while

when was this announced?! I didn't even hear about this. I really like the tiny motor that they are including with these new models. Maybe we can get it as a CP next time.

kakaka. I got even bigger ideas ed. The problem with all these mode is that the zoid can only go back and forth. I wanna be able to make it go left and right. Gotta think up a way.....

folks,

Genobreaker was featured at the end of the guardian force anime series. Actually teamed up with the Blade liger to beat the deathsaurer 2.

Faizakki is right bout the 1/72 scale figures being almost the same size as the green army men athough those are closer to 1/60 scale so slightly larger.

Painting the figures is possible though. Heres what you need:
1) Sable brush- 0.1 or smaller if possible
2) Primer - I use metal primer cos it works best for me
3) magnifier - those head band type work best
4) Handpaint- I use gunze but I heard Vallejos are the best for figure painting
5) steady hands and good eyes

Difficult but not impossible. I used to paint 1/100 gundam pilots when I was starting this hobby. Almost went blind but crazy happy when I finished!

Already crossed eyed...

one thing to note, at this scale its pretty rare to get a good mold of figures. The tomy pilots are no exceptions. The mold is pretty rough and to get good details one may have to carve it out ourselves.
