I just got myself a OJR Battlerover from Mudah.com, the fella was honest when he warned me of missing parts and running motor. Yup stiff joints, OJR labels, missing hands and guns and rubber caps. the rubber caps has some shrinkage. Overall satisfied. The rest of the parts I might be able to scratch build.

Btw Ed, i dissemble the parts so i could move it... do you happen to have the manual in the dungeon? I could check for missing parts too.

btw for those who wanted the HMM CWLC so badly when it was limited is now going to be REISSUE. At the moment the its valued at RM350 to RM400. So if the reissue is here u will just need to pay not more than RM140 i belief.

Congrats to cryonic on the OJR Battlerover - is it the blue body one?

Yeah its the blue one, at first from the pic i doubt it was OJR, so i just thought of getting it for scraps but when i saw it was in good cond and an OJR but with missing parts, not major ones, i realised i think i shud restore it to its former glory. the rubber caps i think got 12 missing and its brown, got shrinkage, the kit is dusty and erm oily, the sprues is so badly cut. it took me about a hour before figuring out the parts. Now my room has a 'blue pilot' instead of a 'green' one.

I still noticed the OJR plastic is so damn good and solid. Don't know how this Battlerover survives.. but i am not see it almost meeting the same fate as 'sandspeeda' (hey i didnt broke it in the first place). Now perhaps o buy a tdp ver it for restoration. or perhaps scratchbuild the components (if i knw how it looks like) but i don;t think i can replace the rubber caps easily.

Later i try to take pics, btw Ed no hurries, next year also can... i m kinda bz these days.

cryonic, best is to scavenge for another OJR battlerover (for completionist) or TDP for restoration.

i think Ed has a couple of OJR battle rovers no?

hehe thanks, well yea at the moment there's the confinement lady doing all the dirty job. Probably after when she left will have absolutely no time to build HMMs.

Guys, sometimes images doesn't tell the whole picture but after you buy and built it you will probably think otherwise. If the IK teeth is the fall of it, then dont put the teeth. Might just be like the normal kong. Will try that.

Iron KOng should be december and buster Nov finger cross....

Of course the teeth doesn't ruin the IK. but for me, even if i wish to buy all the HMM releases, budget constraint means
i can buy only the variants that i really really like. i can probably afford 1 or at most 2 IK, so as eager as i am to enjoy
the building of a HMM IK, i'll probably force myself to wait for the MK II or PK variant.

It is a high probability that the other HMM variants of Iron Kong would be released. However, if they're going to be Limiteds, probably gonna cost as much as two regular HMM Iron Kongs, yes? Oh my. Much dilemma. Wonder if they can produce one in MK II Limited colour and Empire weapon set?

Iron kong hmm, from what i can tell so far, is going to be an amazing build
much time and enjoyment is going to from this epic hmm

its definitely going to be epic. my guess is HMM IK is going to break Genobreaker's record of having the most piece parts.

on a second thought, maybe not.. cos the parts are quite large especially the shoulder covers etc all over the body. only time will time.

Zoids Battlerover 2nd hand, thinking of scraping for parts.. but i found out this was an Original Japan Release Kit so right now thinking of restoring it. The motorize parts is still working. Still moves at least 1 metre. Pilot joints are very tight. Discoloration and dusts are still there.

A lot of rubber caps missing. The whole hands are missing. This is truly a chicken... that needs to take a bath and fixed.

damn the purplish blue color is awesome! honestly it looks like brand new to me man! you GOTTA restore it to its former glory brother!
