Thus far, the planned releases for this year are for Kotobukiya HMM Zoids. This means that for motorised/wind-up Zoids, there are only online stocks (er, LYN also counted as online-lah).

General question then for long-time players here: how much extra would be needed to budget when bidding/buying from Japanese sites? How much more could one expect to pay on top of the bid/sale price?

I know it depends on your bid/sale service provider but as a general estimate?
I just need to give myself a big reality kick up the a** whenever I go "window shopping" at YJA.

I always mark up 45-50%. It's quite close to my actual by the end of the day when the invoice arrives.

always aim for low starting bids and all you need to do is tell them what your max bid is. (what u can afford to pay for that item) When they punch in the max bid, anyone who bid below that will lose their bid maintaining yours as the highest bidder. BUT if its above your max bid u will lose.
