just because it's sitting on some green color sticks doesn't make it ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY.

Just like what others said, just another casingless PC with accident waiting to happen. Somebody spit into the motheboard, will burnt the whole thing.

lol where is the environment factor in this? if you realy want to make it environment friendly why dont u dig a hole and put ur mobo in it and bury ur mobo in it. then make some holes for the cables to come out of the ground

well, I also dont see the point of "environmental friendly"

Instead of wood, I think you should use other of scrap to build up the rack,
use scrap/recyclable material to make the rack,
then it is environmental friendly.

Use the wood means chopping down the tree,
and the paint use will cause air polution,
this isnt environmental friendly at all.......

Yeah, the green kindda kills the look for me as well.

Nice work though. Typical test bed layout and design.

Add a 250mm fan on the top and you have yourself a Antec Skeleton clone:

Previously i bought a wooden rack from furniture shop to make open bench as well but later found the following issues :
1)not so enviromental friendly - will kill insects and small animals....(OS went BSOD once bcoz remnants of cicak shit stucked to one of the mainboard trace, luckily board was ok)
2)not optimised for cooling unless you have extra fans blowing directly at the gpu/rams
3)NOT INFANT/TODDLER/THOUSAND FINGER KIDS friendly - nuff said.

So i ended up stuffin them back into my Centurion case...most problem solved.
