i keep receiving mms from maxis like; review of watchmen, review of street fighter. i don't recall activating it at all. either my friends or my family must've accidentally activated it. so how?

if it states free..den it shud be free.. maxis is promotin their movie review service.. if u wan further reviews, den u gotta subscribe to it.

anyway.. u can set ur phone NOT to download any message unless u say yes.

not sure about ur model, but usually it is under message setting, mms profile, and auto-download setting...

I'm using postpaid as well. Really annoying. Everyday must send me the stupid free mms.

im using 6600 too. and seriosuly receiving nonsence mms (like happy valentine, happy cny, and so on) from maxis makes my hp lagg like hell.

yeah mms is special case...and i thought that maxis waived the charges..

i know how annoying it can get, receiving unsolicited messages (especially for commercial exploits).
the so-called free mms are chargeable on the data download portion (and you may have easily and accidentally click to initiate the data download).

i've written to mcmc very recently and they have replied requesting specific incident logs as to when it occurred.
strange it may seem to be.. i've not been receiving such messages(free mms) ever since the complaint lodged.

i hope mcmc don't take it as case-by-case basis (e.g those who complaint, will get acted, but to those who don't.. will continue to get bombarded).

well, you guys can actually write to mcmc personally yourself..

you try receiving that mms when u in the middle of say a gta deathmatch , and u will be cursing @ them . stargely my prepaid not that many , but postpaid alot .lol

you don't need to activate it. i have experience it myself too without even saving the mms settings to my phone. once you pop in your sim card, these telco will start to spam your mailbox.

my digi postpaid everyday got at least 1 promotion sms lol...

my DiGi prepaid AT LEAST 2 everyday from DiGi and 2016~

the complaint to mcmc was kind of promising.. i got a clir-ed call from maxis to work things out.
i asked them to pull out the 'free mms' initiatives.. till today, they've been keeping their end of the bargain.

Pls does any one know if it's possible to receive mms from unknown sender? I keep receiving mms from maxis from time to time, wondering if someone is actually having a crush on me or maxis sends such messages. some of the messages reads... You brought colour into my life,..
