maybe u can try out yr friend's BB lipstick. If it still doesn't help, maybe you can try:

1. use lipliner and a very moisturising lipgloss.

2. a lipstick that is half lip balm and half lipstick. have you u heard of the latest one from revlon?

3. tinted lip balm or maybe give yr lips some treatment. heard that you can use extra virgin olive oil to soften and condition your lips.

if you guys are having dry lipstick.. avoid using any lipstick that says "matte" or "long lasting" or "color stay" and anything like that.

the longer the lipstick can stay on our lip, the drier it will be and chap your lips further.

use moisturizing lip balm as base and follows by moisturizing lipstick or lip gloss.

i personally like HABA's lip gloss. and maybelline's lip gloss chapped my lip pretty badly.. same goes to skin food's and etude house's.
