Hey baoz, im currently doing MUFY and the subjects i took are
English, Maths, Computer Science, Chemistry

Previously few months ago i felt that i wanted to do IT related courses. Then suddenly my mood change and i felt like doing pharmacy. ( Yes very weird haha )
One of my friend, he told me that Monash states that you only need Chemistry to do Pharmacy course. But he say, when you get into Monash, they will tell you " Actually you need biology to enter pharmacy course " . Is this true?

For my MUFY semester B, do you think i should take up these subjects:
English B, Maths B, Chem B, Bio A, Bio B ? provided i pass.

Oh man.... to MUFY students out there reading this...... If you still intend to pursue Pharmacy, the entry score to Monash has already increased.
From 320/400 to 340/400 . 85% average. Haha bad news for me

EDIT: If i can't get into Monash for Pharmacy, and i wan to apply for pharmacy in Nottingham, will it be accepted ? It says quote
" Other Qualifications such as UEC, South Australian Matriculation, Canadian Pre-U (OAC) or other equivalent qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis " . But it didn't state the subjects.
Most of the entry requirements require Biology. So im afraid i can't enter since im only taking chemistry. cry.gif

What does it mean by failing? Does it mean not getting more than 40/100 for a paper ? Or not performing well on practical work? .Aspiring pharmacy undergraduate here

for Monash, if we are taking B Pharm...then after semester 1(half a year), some ppl find that they can't cope, then they switch course to ie : B.Science or etc.

If this is possible, can we take B.Science for semester 1, and then switch to B.Pharm startin from sem 2 onwards.

Just curious and want to know if its possible.

Okay how about this....Can we switch our courses ie from b.science to b.pharm but STARTOVER for b.pharm. Do they look at our results for semester 1 of b.science or do they look at our Pre-U results?
Afraid i can't make it >< sad.gif

i called them 5 minutes ago, but there was no one on the other end of the line. I think they were having lunch or something.
What do you mean "calls are ignored" ? They won't pick up or they sweet talk on the phone and craps?

Monash University started the Bpharm course in 2009. I have attended some seminars and the speakers would assure everyone that it will be accredited by Msia pharm board "soon".

Just my 2 cents because baoz hasn't replied.

Hey baoz, you said your coursemates wrote an appeal letter write? May i know how did he/she write it? With all the address and etc? Because i asked the ppl from Monash just days ago, they said what i should do is...

1) Re-send a new application form
2) Send in all my credentials SPM and Pre-U results
3) Money? not sure
4) Then the appeal letter, stating the reasons etc.

If i attach d appeal letter 2geda with all my forms, then i won't have to write the address everything right? But just to be on the safe side, could you pleasseeeee help me on this matter? Haha sorry if it troubles u.
