I heard that Taylor's M Pharm programme is partially accredited in the UK. So is it a wise choice if I choose to do a MPharm in Taylors rather than in IMU or Notts?

So if I were to graduate with a MPharm degree, will I be able to get a job in the UK? Or do I have to go through extra trainings and fill up extra forms etc. ?

Haha well to what I know, to enroll for Taylors M Pharm degree, a Foundation in Science with a CGPA of 3.5 is sufficient....But i'm just wondering whether a Foundation will be accepted in the UK to apply for a job since A-lvls are like their preferred choice, i think...

Hey all, I will be starting my Pharmacy course in September and can't wait for it to start. Having said that, I also have no idea on what to expect. May I have some advice on to do's and not to do's and stuff like that to make my study life not THAT stressful? I know its just my 1st year, but I'd like some insight to prepare for the future smile.gif Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

There aren't really any do's or don'ts with university...

Year 1 will be pretty boring in terms of the subjects to be honest. But just hang around a little longer.

Don't leave your studies to the last minute unless you're a genius. There will be lots to catch up..

Try to join and participate in societies and clubs. All the better if pharmacy-related societies so that you know what's going on around in your industry. There are lots of issues at present. Be more knowledgable, proactive and make yourself a competent pharmacist.

No slacking and be proactive. Got it. Same goes for years 2,3 and 4?

Just asking around, can anyone suggest what could be done during the summer break of 3 months after first year? Something pharmacy related or any sort like that?
