@JoannaKwan
well, i agree with your friend. doing pharmacy locally in malaysia would hardly takes you anywhere, and the sub par job satisfaction compared to the places where separation of dispensing is possible.
life as a pharmacist is like being a storekeeper, a pharmacy owner said that. you will not be working along with doctors, you work under them.
i was planning to top up a master postgraduate from elsewhere initially, and end up being in the academic side. imagine with the mushrooming of school of pharmacy back in malaysia, the competition to get quality teaching staff is fierce, and there is where ucsi has fail.
Added on June 14, 2010, 7:30 pmon a side note, do you want to list out all the school of pharmacy that is in your consideration and a brief note why you excluded some of them.
to be honest, your choices are a little weird.
Added on June 14, 2010, 7:57 pmThe following universities are provisionally accredited. This means that they are new MPharm providers who are admitting students but have not yet graduated any students:
* Sunderland University & SEGI [Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia]
* Liverpool & MAHSA (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)
* Cardiff & Taylor's University College
try to stay away from them at the moment.
