VP80 call rate of 12sen/m = HotlinkYouthClub rate of 12sen/m.
VP80 5sen/sms = HYC 1sen/m. VP80 commitment of rm960/year = HYC commitment of rm10/year. Looks like postpaid call rates are under pressure to come down. First to react should be digi. |

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Apr 3 2009, 11:30 AM) Haha. I couldn't understand him neither. Don't know what he want to say. Going to good university will not have hotlinkyouthclub? Only good universities get hotlinkclub/D'Campus participation. If you goto a "crap" (borrow your word) kolej/university, then no HYC. masi tak paham? tu la akibatnye, pii kolej "kerap". QUOTE(Cowhide @ Apr 3 2009, 09:17 AM) VP80 call rate of 12sen/m = HotlinkYouthClub rate of 12sen/m. Good stop-gap by Maxis. But be prepared for counter by digi.VP80 5sen/sms = HYC 1sen/m. VP80 commitment of rm960/year = HYC commitment of rm10/year. Looks like postpaid call rates are under pressure to come down. First to react should be digi. A telco industry article mentioned that Mal prepaid rates are too high among the regional players. That explains the downward drift of rates. Soon prepaid users will rejoice. If Maxis maintains the 60sec block, then DIGI FTW. p.s. Health advise: If you don't "crap" regularly, you will get stuckup in ur behind; and become very arrogant. Dying of too much "crap" is very horrible. This post has been edited by Cowhide: Apr 3 2009, 01:55 PM |

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Apr 3 2009, 01:53 PM) Did I step on your tail? Did I say anything about crap college/university? Not directed at anyone. Just not explaining very well. Are you studying? Good Luck in your studies. I only have a basic cert..missed the chance to study at kolej. So, no HYC.....i jeles. * *We have to compare Maxis postpaid & prepaid because it seem to be cheaper TCO to be on prepaid (4year validity). *There is HYC, now we want HNSYC = Hotlink Not So Young Club (above 22). QUOTE(tifosi @ Apr 3 2009, 02:15 PM) My dad is complaining the rate i am getting compare to his 1sen/sms is too much to ask. Telco also need to profit.Yeah, i hope Digi will introduce something like this because my phone book basically divided between maxis and digi user. If i can send 1 cent sms to everyone, than it would be great. But I can give you some good advise. I can sell you RM3/month unlimited messages from any network in the world. Only you need to lend a supported phone from your fren; like N70, N73, N95. Then you have to send MSN to 2016; after you MNP to digi. Rephrase: If you are Maxis, you have to change telco to digi. Then subscribe to DIGI WLM service @ RM3/month. refer to DIGI website. The affect is neither your frens & dad will also want to use the same service. QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Apr 3 2009, 02:36 PM) I would say 1sen/sms is not really that much to ask for. I happened to see in Indonesia and surprise to see they could offer 1 sms at 1 rupiah. Its true that sms consumes negligible amounts of bandwidth. Essentially free revenue for the telco. If phone call 1sen that that is too much Btw, on your advice, please do provide information in details. The sentence in bold leading people into confusion. Imagine free unlimited sms, with your postpaid package. But Digi WLM will break their monopoly. Unless Maxis also come out with Maxis YahooMassager? Or Celcom BoogleTalk?
