Same here, for the past 1 month it seems very difficult to share credit to others Hotlink number. SMS send, will only get response by night around 10:30 p.m. & it will no longer valid.

I would suggest you try that from 12:00.a.m. onwards (midnight), it seems O.K by then.


Today I tried (just now) but it failed again. Probably need to do it tonight.

P/S : Is it Hotlink try to discourage ppl from sharing (to make u top-up/purchase more instead of sharing from existing loaded credit)? Wow, possible another business conspiracy? sweat.gif

I have a simple question, if I call a digi line which is at overseas using my local hotlink line, will the oversea hp able to see my number or caller id?

Heya! maxis postpaid and prepaid user here.

Changed my old prepaid (6 years) to a supplementary line, and just got the HYC line today. 4 years validity quite useful. Using it for GSM related electronic projects (I'm a communication engineering student) smile.gif

Regarding difficulties in sharing top up, its mostly likely a network related issue than a conspiracy. But who knows, businesses would always find ingenious ways get money. Regardless if they are Maxis, Digi or Celcom wink.gif

Why is it when I dial *100# to convert to the Hotlink 365 plan the msg is always "service is temporarily unavailable"? This has happened for days.

Has the plan been terminated?

not terminated..
all the telco always have the problem with their system every now and then..
so wait, and try again latter..

they do that just to keep their customer..

hi all.. seems like in this thread many forumers are expert in telco industries, hope anyone can help/advice me on this.. my handphone was stolen and after i print out the Hotlink bill statement, found out that the thief had used my phone to make call, send sms and do transfer credit till all credit finish..

my concern is regarding the credit transfer activity.. If i can track the identity of the number that received the credit, maybe later can lead to the thief..I've been to Maxis Customer service centre KLCC but they said can be given only by police request.. however till now the police never take follow-up..they are busy with other big crime maybe and I afraid the case will be classify as NFA later..

So,any advice..? such as can we get it from MCMC..?

bcause according to the statistic maxis lost the most customer when the MNP was introduce..
if u port out to other telco successfully maxis still send sms to ur number trying to get back the customer..

i have no intention of converting to other telco provider, yet.

but so far, their promos/offers still fail at getting me interested.

I just converted from VP50 into family plus 30 - as supp line of my bf's VP50 plan.

Just wondering whether the talk time sharing means both of we'll be able to share the 50+30 talk time together? sweat.gif

If I only used up 20(out of 30) and him 60(out of 50) would we ended up with RM90 + tax bills

or it would still be considered RM80 + tax?

Is there any way to check the individual usage besides the combined unbilled amt?

How bout the free calls? Is there any way to check it too?

Both bills will combine so equals RM80 + tax.
That's the beauty of credit sharing. Maxis is the only telco offering this by the way.

No way to check individual unbilled amount and also free calls tho.
