Hmm, i used to send MMS alot, but not anymore because nowadays its fees has risen and, eventhough i bought the internet or GPRS pass already, it doesn't count on it..  cry.gif

For example, i bought the 1 hour pass with RM2.. i then send some pics to just 1 fren, it uses GPRS, and after sent, i realized my balance has been deducted more than RM1...  unsure.gif

So it seems like, having that pass doesn't mean can send MMS cheaper, i don't mind about a few cents, but.., not over RM1.., the pass doesn't include the mms sending that uses GPRS also..  sad.gif

Although its MMS greetings website are FOC to browse and download, but passing the greetings to others is not relevant unless Maxis lower down the rates.., else, it's pointless to encouraging sending MMS to all the frens..  unsure.gif

Try to imagine sending a MMS CNY greetings to more than 20 frens, how much do we have to pay for that so called, "FREE MSS GREETINGS"??  shocking.gif

sigh...  unsure.gif

The possibility for this to happen have few reason

1) The file you are sending is bigger than the daily limit so additional data will be chargable

2) The access point setting is wrong so chargable

3) When u buy the daily data package make sure u received a confirmation without it its chargable as well

Hope that clarify your confusion.

1- Data plan/ intenet plan not included MMS

2- Free MMS greeting. the pictures are free but if u MMS the picture to others, u will be charges per MMS based!

3- MMS rate are fix @ RM0.25(same telco) / RM0.50(other telco) depend on size. eg: RM 0.25 for 50KB. if the picture only below 50KB, then it charge 0.25/0.50 if picture 65KB, then it charge 0.50/1.00 .no data usage charge because MMS use diffenrent gateway/APN
* not sure MMS size limit. can somebody help me!

you can delete your Caller Ring-tones via our Music Unlimited website at http://www.musicunlimited.com.my/maxisweb/

1. Simply register your number with the website and login.
2. Select ‘My Account’ and ‘Manage Caller Ringtone’.
3. You will see a list of your Caller Ringtones. Simply click on the ‘Delete’ button for each song you wish to delete and press ‘Update’.

I don't know what plan i am on, i think it's the extended plan or something..

All i know is, i oftenly press *100#, then goto mobile intyernet to buy 1 hour pass to check some emails whne i can't on from my PC..

Yeah, i know only the pic is FREE, but i remember lats time not that expensive..

My fren is having the same telco, but, still i got charge around RM1 for a message around 70kb.., i think it counted the GPRS thingy, i saw the symbol on my phone flashing while sending it.., or i think i selected GPRS setting for MMS or something.. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif
