If you notice correctly, the point is about why "Proton sucks" so in my response, I'm quoting other Proton models, not directly the Exora. Even if we want to compare the new Proton MPV, the price tag of RM70K+ for this MPV is again daylight robbery. IF they play a fair game by taxing a Toyota Wish of the same rate, how many would still go for the Proton?

The moment we speak about Proton cars, it doesn't give people confidence and there's no excuse because Proton has been here for close to 3 decades and that's 30 years!! People buy Proton because they don't have a choice and I believe majority don't mind paying RM10K more for a Japanese make.

If you insist that we shouldn't "prejudge any cars before it is even out and released to the showroom" then sure, let's review things again in another 2-3 months. I would be surprised if it's really that good because in the history of Proton, every model would be filled an unacceptable amount of complaints.

watonk, the MOU with Mitsu should be involving waja replacement model with the new Lancer, all parts including the GEMA engine with only minor changes in body parts.

Exora will be equip with turbo charger maybe in late 2010 or early 2011, new facelift maybe...?
but i really hope that it will be powered by E01 engine family instead of campro cps turbo.

In most of your post, I've seen you emphasising on good command of english and mentioning about low level of education of others. So can I know why do you not have the choice to leave this country? I suppose you do have a very high level of education and talent that other countries want to be criticising others like that.

it's true exora is heavier than others... this will only affect the car performance if the car is full load.. if most of the time only carry 4-5 people, it shouldn't be a problem

no suprise. neo cps is heavier than civic too..thats a hatch and a sedan u know!. maybe all future proton car will be so much more heavier. good to know..maybe they will put all turbo and supercharge. wuhoo~ rev happy bebeh.

all car in malaysia are overpriced, but at least the pricing is much much better than that offered by toyota especially the shitty vios and myvi which is definitely super overpriced for what u paid.. if u know what is the pricing they should put in their car, go become proton marketing strategist and push the car to get lower price, like u said, 20k for saga

In my opinion, Proton Exora is more suitable for those with large families as it has rear airconditioning system unlike Passo Sette, however, Passo Sette is more preferable for those with small family and also, even single people, especially young females....

i was floor the pedal ma, rpm going up but so slow, to get to 45kmh, that was in L and the rpm almost 6-7k rpm, then when the auto change to second gear, rpm around 4-5krpm but cant go  more..just able to reach 50kmh...

sat avanza 1.5 to genting with 5 adults (2 fat fella)..right after awana..my friend that drove, abit lack of pickup to go..so down shift 2nd gear...till the temple slope, have to downshift to L in order to move...   engine revving hard but cant really go...whereby my another friends overtook us with his optra 1.8 and city smoothly...so come to think of proton's mpv and since most of u guys mentioned its underpowered...well..genting should be abit hard task to climb up..can climb but slow like tortoise.... ....
