The prestige quite encouraging... If they really consider it as high line... i think they'll gain lot of supporter..

i'm not sure about the engine inside prime/prestige.
if add more cc surely..fuel consumption diff. & also insurance,taxes..
even the 1.6 exora now..they already done R&D for years b4 sell it in market
i'm also proud to be Malaysian..& live in Malaysia even i didnt contribute any ideas to create that exora
coz i'm in different field job

if you when 2 public proton festive b4..i've seen a lot of development from door(system design like merc, bmw) ,
dashboard(more types), engines & more..but dunno why they didnt release all yet & what r they planning in future
nvm..its their strategy

so by buying malaysian product from foods, cars & wse, we can support our country economy
i'm pretty sure they will realize to improve certain prob intervals
also its affordable in every aspect for most malaysian citizen who has big family
for others..dont complaint 2 much.pls mirror yourself 1st..
what profit u gain by condemn?
i suggest..u can work in any automotive industry & send your proposal to developed somethin

but i still like  Quad tail exhaust style happy.gif

i thought they put perdana engine inside it...

Overpriced Protons? Pfft.

One got to understood that a Proton car is NOT of 100% local content. Most of the electronics isn't made in Malaysia because probably Malaysia doesn't have the suitable industry to manufacture these yet, so they have to outsource from other markets. The ECU for the airbags for example is made in Korea and engaging consultants from LG CNS isn't cheap either. Not to mention, Proton have to crash a total of 32 Exoras during their crash tests.

The recent entry of Mazda and Mitsubishi with their CBU cars at competitive price already shows the fine example of who is actually been slaughtering fellow ignorant malaysians. I am not gonna elaborate more on this as it'll only drift away the point of this topic further.

Be considerate.

if not mistaken.. no car in the world 100% local content...
i just remember my old day... my friend study at overseas (Japan) and proudly bought a hifi (even telling lot of friend how good and technological that hifi was)....
Lot of new stuff inside that i never see in malaysia during that time...

Then one day.. the hifi broken and my friend ask me to repair it and he really shock when see inside...
lot of part actually made in malaysia... hehehhehe.... tongue.gif

Pity him...

exterior is ok, but when you look into the interior you will be disappointed man, the plastic finishing is so rough, the seat finishing is like a 40k pricing car, the steering wheel is just like cheap material.
