QUOTE(amadeo @ Mar 13 2009, 01:25 PM) .. fuhh for real? For those who doesn't know, mel (the writer) is a 110% Proton supporter, so take his comments with a bucket of sale, if you must. Added on April 17, 2009, 10:56 pmQUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Apr 17 2009, 10:25 PM) It's only 32 for the Euro NCAP. Other more established manufacture crashes up to 100+ cars of the same model for Euro NCAP, Japanese NCAP and USA IIHS crash tests. And not to mention that they use thier own money to buy and crash those cars. This post has been edited by ericmaxman: Apr 17 2009, 10:56 PM

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Apr 18 2009, 12:02 AM) Yeah. EURO NCAP buys the cars like we normal people, off the shelf, not directly from car manufacturers, in order to prevent any under-table agreements.

QUOTE(WhoopeeDoo @ Apr 18 2009, 05:37 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Just went to view the Exora @ Mutiara Damansara Proton with my wife. Will trade my waja for the H-Line if I can get a good price for the waja. What I like :- 1) It's affordable 2) ample leg room 3) ample storage space 4) a/c vents all round 5) CD/MP3 player that supports bluetooth handsfree 6) has that 'solid' feel to it when you sit inside and the sound of the doors closing
What I dislike :- 1) could do with a bigger engine (IMHO) 2) the way the 2nd row seats fold to enable access to the 3rd row. the 3 row passenger better keep their feet clear when the 2nd row seat come back down! (or wear steel toed boots) 3) DVD player only for rear passengers. (guess my wife n kid will enjoy that while I just have to view the GPS!!)
For RM76k and with all the bells & whistles that comes with it, it's value for money to me. Proton has finally launched a good product. Hopefully there won't be too many ghosts of Proton past in the Exora unlike my waja. Well, this is just by seeing in the showroom. We need to have a transparent review on the car, in terms of performance, whether the 1.6 is really up to the task or not. Please do not forget that the Grand Livina also has a 1.6l engine option, but somehow people seem to disregard this.

Then if in that case, please stop trying to say that the car is underpowered.

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Apr 18 2009, 08:22 PM) Agreed. IMHO, underpower itself is kinda subjective. Someone who use to drive a more powerful car will always say the Exora is underpower, while anyone who don't, maybe saud its powerful. Indeed. I feel, it is because they see so many other MPVs with a minimum cc of 1.8, then they start to bash.

QUOTE(bai1101 @ Apr 18 2009, 10:15 PM) P2 mpv will not as big as exora cause it is base on Toyota Passo Sette http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/12/to...compact-car.phpThe compact Toyota Passo Sette measures: 4,180mm long, 1,695mm wide and 1,620mm tall, with a long 2,750mm wheelbase to maximize the interior space. vs exora 4592 x 1809 x 1691 P2's MPV is slated to compete against the Avanza

QUOTE(travis_ckf @ Apr 24 2009, 12:44 PM) I think this question will fit everyone's mind regardless of race Power window ok tidak? erm. proton's CEO mentioned in the launch that they have "fixed" that issue.
