god, i just love string's post... i keep coming back to these part of the forums to see him lambasting people who tries to justify their purchase. seriously though, if resources are limited... stay out of the rat race, its really pathetic to diss new technology merely because you cannot afford it and go around saying "mine is good enough", "matte > glossy" .... etc

I'd put a 100 bucks on the fact that when the new iphone comes around, there'll still be people here telling us that "The old iphone 3g is better, white color is so attractive" or shit like that when in actual fact, they are beating themselves up for not being capable of owning the new one... trust me, its already happened in the apple forums.

It is better to accept the fact that there are things out of your league, but telling us an obsolete product is better, you really need your meds

same sentiments here when i bought the macbook as I really wanted the macbook air... Sometimes the decisions have to be made based more on needs, but I don't go around lambasting saying "MBA is f***ing overpriced junk, easily overheat, Glossy screen sucks, low quality mats, etc etc"... when in all honesty every single fact points to the MBA being superior. I just accept the fact and I'm still happy about my purchase. Behaviors like this can really show the ugly side of a person's character.

On the upcoming iphone3g however, yeah I'm on the wait-train as well... plan on giving away my 3 month old E71 to my gf.
