i have experienced the same problem. my solution is to install itunes on another computer then do the restore there. after that i go back to my pc and restore the backup. everything is fine now. before this, everything i did to restore does not work on my pc.

Moonflown, are you using Windows XP or other OS? and did you disable any services added by itunes?

my pc is on windows xp and the update wont work. my friend's pc is on vista with a fresh install of itunes and it worked.

btw, anyone managed to send mms with digi (maxis/celcom)? i have tried multiple times but no success.

what is the phone number format need to be used in setting - phone and the recepient?

last nite i tried to copy the mms settings from inside safari. not sure if its a bug but the copy feature does not work when i tried to copy the proxy ip address. the phone keeps asking to call or sms to that number.

how many dots do you have in the menu? try sweeping few pages to the right...
