As an Iphone3G user for couple of months, it is a very good news for me with the update 3.0...the lack of basic functionality over the v2.2.1 was horrible and now OS 3.0 solved alot of those missing link..

Hi Guys,
For singtel unlocked iphone3g, do anyone having issue connecting internet tethering with another laptop or pc. I downloaded the v3.0 yesterday at my home using itunes 8.2 and successfully installed everything. The internet tethering works perfect at my home pc..but today i tried connecting thru my office laptop n pc using USB (im using USB to connect at home) it just doesn't work. Turning on/off the iphone tethering doesn't work either or reboot the iphone (pwr+home). Info : Iphone3G (Singtel) Version : 3.0 Carrier : Maxis Data Plan : Unlimited Always! Thanks! Thanks for the info. tinkerbell, Nop..did not install itunes 8.2 for the office. let me guess, the internet tethering only works with itunes 8.2 installed into any machines?   |
