I doubt they will - doesnt commercially help them. Even if they do, it'll probably be pricey/ tailored in a way to benefit them.

As it is, the AT&T upgrades for existing customers are really pricey- a path Maxis will probably take. :S

The WWDC 09' keynote is available in the apple website front page, but damn, it connects to iTunes, and it plays horrible. Freezes all the time

man my fren just bought the current 3G one YESTERDAY =/.. i dunno how to tell her bout this new release and the fall in the 3g's price =/ thou it wun b too significant =/

What if someone changed the Sim card.
Is it use 3G or Mobile Tower to search for the iPhone.
Sending an alert msg to my iphone via mobile ME. what is the charges. and how to charge ? 1 msg per charge by apple ?

guys i haf one question.. wat happen to d bluetooth file transferin? or bonjour? it was mentioned durin the march keynote..

Oh yeah, They did not mention about the bluetooth. like file sharing, sharing mp3 / ringtone.
But they do mention on the bluetooth Multi player.

I'm not sure whether this one is the same with apple website or not. I'm currently downloading Apple Keynotes from Itunes. You can find it from Itunes Store -> Podcast. The size is 7xxmb. Halfway through now.

I think if you turn off the phone or change the SIM card, it probably won't work. MobileMe works over cellular data or WIFI (when available) and is not telco dependent. Your phone has many options to locate itself including radio triangulation (GSM, WIFI) and GPS (when available). Activating this will authorize your phone to keep sending information to MobileMe or when you request it over MobileMe. The process is dependent upon the phone connecting to the internet (again, either cellular data or WIFI). Sending an alert to your iPhone doesn't cost anything other than your regular data charges. In the case Maxis's iValue plans, it doesn't matter cause it uses so little.

If you don't already know, MobileMe is an over-the-air or cloud infrastructure. You can read a lot about MobileMe. Once you understand how it works, then you will realize this new iPhone feature is just one of the many possibilities.
