means wat?the new OS will release at june/july

no, i thought that means a new hardware is coming to maxis?
yeah i know OS3.0 is just a firmware version, but it's kinda weird if u just wanna advertise the OS3.0 on an iPhone that is nearing the end of its cycle.
it's like saying that "if u r buying this winmo 6.1 phone (ph34r.gif), u'll get 6.5 upgrade", of which the software alone isnt the selling point of the device.
and maxis is selling the iPhone here, not the OS. and why they wanna advertise that OS3.0 upgrade on their site?

but yeah, myb it's just maxis wanna show that it's committed on supporting the iPhone for the lapse of its warranty period, and provides the software upgrades (which is funny enough, coz they r not the one who provide the firmware upgrades. Apple does).

so myb this means something, or nothing at all.

btw i'll just wait for any news by string.

or maybe its just something as simple as, trying to get people excited that there's new features soon coming for free to the iPhone 3G that they're selling?

Apple's next iPhone to feature iMovie application?
QUOTE

A big feature of Apple's (supposed) upcoming iPhone is movie recording, and many suspect movie editing to come with this. This editing feature has been laying low in Rumortown lately, but it's reared its ugly head once more, in the form of a BusinessWeek article. The subject? Apparently, an application based on Mac OS X's iMovie will come bundled with the iPhone OS 3.0 release, coming this Summer.

The article states that, "I've spoken with a source that is familiar with Apple's plans for the next iPhone, which may well be announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference in early June. Evidently, shooting video is as easy as it is with a Flip, the ingenious device made by Pure Digital (recently purchased by Cisco). Then there's an iMovie app that lets you quickly save the sections you want, right there on the phone itself. There may also be support for MMS, so the clips can be shared wirelessly with friends. And because of the iPhone's relatively large screen, your friends don't have to schlep to your PC or their Facebook page to see that video of your kids or your safari. Just hand them your iPhone." This is a very promising prospect, and would help silence the critics of Apple's mobile device, and at the same time would provide an easier way for the many users of YouTube (or other websites) to upload their videos.

As usual, this is just a rumor, but June isn't that far away now, so expect the rumors to pick up and the hype to build, and at the same time some more credible information to come out. What do you think Neowin? With all the changes that Apple has made to the iPhone so far (via the 3.0 software), is this going to change your opinion on it, or will this make no difference to you?

I think the rest, especially bro Harmett is doing a great job updating this. I malas already wanna post, people taking my post as a jab at their wisdom for purchasing an iPhone at this late a product cycle. I'm better off not caring too much, a wise friend recently told me. Save me on my systolic and diastolic readings of my blood pressure.
