why ppl keep saying dota is created by blizzard when it was actually just some dude who was using the custom map editor to create a game that he would think would be fun to play?

the idea is his, just that he is using wc3 as the platform to create the game since he has no money or the team of gaming experts to create the game for him.

so blizzard create dota? doesnt make sense

i think given if Eul, Guinsoo and Icefrog had the money, dota will be an independant game by itself, and blizzard wont be making so much money lol
