I bought a gift card before from local vendor. Granted I didn't know how the vendor actually got the card number as I was given the number and when I tried to redeem the card, I couldn't. Hence, the vendor actually logged into my iTunes and redeemed for me. All the while, I didn't see the card. Only the numbers. I thought something wasn't right.

It seems that those gift card may or may not be legit. I don't know. I'm just sharing the news. I hope I bought a legit card. But from my price point, I do have to wonder.

Besides, the vendor has to log in to redeem for you?
