vidic deserves one bad day , liverpool simply too good and this game also exposed our weaknesses as well. our central midfield have been overhyped

anyway , its good for the sports as it wont be over in march or otherwise i'll be bored to death

i am sure this match will be a wake-up call . perhaps the quintuple thingy is a big distraction or indeed the lads deserve 1 bad game as well. still i see the willingness and determination from the players are not lacking . any game after the UCL match with inter is never easy . all who are associated with united the past 2 weeks must have their mind pre occupied with the UCL 2nd round and thus our focus are affected

still , man utd will win the BPL come MAY

manchester united will make a swift recovery from this set back and i'm confident we will retain the BPL title come month of May .the UCL will be harder to retain though .some good luck is needed for the quarter and semi-finals draw this friday.

liverpool has proved they can win some big games but yet could not produce the consistency required to win the BPL. dont be surprise they may fall yet again to some small team from now

in fact we are due for a momentarily lapse of concentration. in truth we play quite well in the first 20 min. central midfield shortcoming needed to be address . if not for giggs who play fantastically well in central midfield lately , our weakness there will be exposed sooner. no matter what many united fans think about carrick , i think he's just an average player by united standard. seldom see him making the final pass to make goals and he score far too few goals . anderson is still raw and inconsistent

for that big game , liverpool are desperate to get the 3 points and naturally are more motivated and hungry that us . give them credit though , they play well. not to give any excuses here , liverpool have much more rest than us since January 2009 and infact in between the UCL 2nd round matches we have play in the FA cup and Carling cup and i tell ya , it ain't easy .

but to make history and achieve IMMORTALITY , come what may and no matter what the hurdles ,manchester united have to deal with it

we are still in pole position for the BPL , in the semi final of the FA cup and quarter of the UCL , the hardest path we have cross and is already over to where we are now but the most difficult part is about to begin

difficult it may be , and i'm confident we can do it , i lay my trust on 1 person and he is Sir Alex Ferguson to bring at least 2 more trophy out of the remaining 3 by May this season

i have been reading many liverpool forums oversea and this forum lately and i conclude hereof that just this 1 win at old trafford , liverpool fans tend to think and believe like they have won the biggest prize in football already

this victory over united must have cause the biggest reaction from liverpool fans all over the world in history

oh goodness , i feel great because they really acted and treated and that beating man utd alone in 1 game is like capturing a major trophy . i guess they must have been very very envious and jealous of our recent successes and more so now as this season ,we are going for 4 or 5 trophies

for football sake , its good to know the rivalry between england 2 most successful and famous club remain bitter and intense now more than ever

for man utd fans , please take note we remain firm favourites to retain the BPL title and one lost battle doesn't mean we lose the war. although we lost last saturday , the way the lads play , i still feel the team haven't lost the enthusiasm and spirit to get back to the game and only when vidic is dismissed and after the 3rd goal conceded we lost the will to get back to the game which isn't a bad thing because the players realize we could still afford to lose that match.

i trust no doubt this utd squad with enough experience will rally back very soon

cheers

even the most fastest man in history was his fan

the world should be grateful to sir alex for giving cr7 the license to thrill

money money money

not many club can coup with playing 2 absolutely important and crucial game within 48 hours

the english FA should learn from the italian FA by protecting and ensuring their own club players have more rest in between games.

thats why for the past 2 decade , it is so hard for english clubs to win the BPL and UCL in the same year. add in the not so neccesary community shield ,carling cup ,super cup and fifa world club championship....many BPL manager will go crazy.what's more , the dreaded english club pitch , weather and climate drain and sucks every adrenaline out of each of player body until they all have hormone disorder

thats why i always carry the belief that if one win the BPL and UCL in the same year, the achievement and satisfaction is much higher than winning the world cup

the last 2 BPL match are the biggest nightmare in recent times .so many players getting sent off. there isn't any surprise in football anymore

ginger head may do a instinctive hand save/block ,but with his experience , should just have let the ball pass him by. but don't blame him lah

rooney's attitude and behaviour has been too inviting for sometimes now for referees to book or send him off . that's the way he play best but need to attend some anger management class. still his enthusiasm and passion are second to none . he's been so good when he comes on. don't blame him lah

if the match prove anything last night , it is that the fighting spirit and determination are always there under adverse situation . oh boy , the way i watch the lads play in the whole of the second half, put it simply ,encouraging

the BPL title is still there for us to take . we might lose sometimes and so will our nearest challengers

P/S

heard some news owen hargreaves might be back to play some part
and if true , that is encouraging as well

why go ranaldo bashing when the team did not get the right results this time around. he's still the league second or third highest scorer and definitely the highest scorer for united.

his feat of scoring 42 goals will be hard to repeat. everybody who knows and understand football will agree to it. his attitude and arrogance are expected and may have disgusted many man utd fans. as long as he play ok which i think he has been doing and i have no problem with that.

he has change his game this season .he looks different and probably fearing injury for you know what reason ( saving himself to join real )or maybe he wants to add some new dimension to his game.

even if ronaldo is to join real madrid , he'll get lots of money for united. i have no problem with that.remember he's from madeira with lots of sunny sky and manchester weather and lifestyle there probably sucks for him.

no matter how we see CR7 , on the pitch he's often the most dangerous player for united and the way he play ,he certainly don't lack enthusiasm.
i have to admit though , lately , his freekick sux so much as it often hit the wall.

we may bash him a little but we should see CR7 as a very important player for man utd

looking back at the game with fulham , except for the first 20 min , i don't think we underperformed , if anything, the lad played and fought tremendously well and we should take optimism from this.

what scholes did was purely instinctive and after the sending off and penalty , always will be difficult for us with one man and one goal down . we almost got back to the game with numerous missed scoring chances.

but i have to admit the winning momentum is not there at the moment and that is something to be worry about.

on the other hand , liverpool have got back their winning momentum and they sure win big these days.

it's still in our hands although the remaining fixtures say ours is slightly more difficult than liverpool and the fate is still on us to determine who's the champion end of season, although we don't mind some slip-up by liverpool and i have no doubt they surely will

the international break couldn't come at a better time as i believe fatigues and over expectations have played some roles in our recent shortcomings

with the experience of these squad ,i remain optimistic we'll plough through these little present uncertainties

God damn it... that jersey looks like Star Trek Enterprise, what are they thinking? Going to space doh.gif
They better dont decide to go for this design, I always think that 06/07 jersey is nostalgia enough instead of this crap.
But one thing for good, not gonna waste any of my money for next season jersey if that design really stand rclxms.gif

this international break is getting too boring . cant wait for the real thing which is the BPL to resume.

watch some old seasons review . it's scandalous and can't really understand why giggs have not won the players of the year award before. giggs is just superb. better than CR7. 18 years on and he's still playing well and this time in central midfield role. what a career at united. absolutely unbelievable.

the most decorated player in the history of the game playing at high level year in year out and yet with humility intact

no surprise , SAF call for the bachelor of knighthood for giggs as i would do the same

i hope in the year 2011 , the queen of england bestow the knighthood on Ryan Joseph Giggs known simply as Sir Ryan Giggs

among other things , upon his retirement , i hope giggs would have won 12 BPL titles , 4 champions league and one player of the year award.that would be nice

see how many faces you can recognize
