football is like that la.....especially when there is intensive rivalry....
last season, after you guys walloped us at OT, someone here put a picture of Mascherano as siggy and called him crazy.......(the red card incident)... some Liverpool fans tried to come here and said its not a nice thing to do....but were ridiculed... anyway, look at the big picture...the title is still yours to lose.... I told my friends last night victory was bitter sweet for me....We defeated Chelsea and MU TWICE...and yet, will probably end up empty handed this season... QUOTE(air_mood @ Mar 15 2009, 10:19 AM) Delusion, that's something that I can't stand. Even from my own fans. Irritates the hell out of me. Hence why I've never really liked all this bullcrap Quadruple, Quintuple, Sextuple talk. Builds up unnecessary expectations leaving a lot of room for disappointment. We know there's load of pricks on here who sticks with the team when we win and fecks off when we lose. This will probably flush them out then. if MU does `feckup' in the title charge this season...it will be one of the biggest one! But as a Pool fan, `I'll luv it if they do...'As much as I like to think the league is a foregone conclusion, plenty can happen still. Like I said, plenty of room for feckups. QUOTE(leongtat @ Mar 23 2009, 07:48 AM) Why are all these pool ppl intruding our thread by telling some non-sense when they knew it? not sure if i will be labelled as a troll but hey...CHILL bro........its just a bunch of Liverpool fans happy with their team's 3 big victories....(imagine if MU were to have the same sequence of victories). Of course, the parallel lost of form in United helped boost the celebrations too..and yet still dare to call themselve best supporter? i seriously don't understand....talking bout trolls....yes we do have....but those are single poster that don't come in to post frequent in our thread too.... but for pools fans like blinky,solstice,redrider.....it is really a disgrace....no offence but no point for you all to post something that is not relevant just to show your presence for pools victory against villa....credit for the win but thanks for taking out friedel for the next game too.... To solstice....stop your undying attitude that wanted to reply to every post....get a life n get back to your thread...if you really can't bear with what you seen here....just ignore it or betta don't come in.... Pressure has been around since early in the season... Liverpool leading the table, challenging for title (perhaps something MU fans are not used to), then Rafa's rant, Fergie's reply, then Liverpool losing the lead, MU taking over with commanding number of points, the `I hate Liverpool' declaration, blah blah...so, whichever team showing form and in command, the supporters will seize the opportunity to celebrate and perhaps, sounds offensive in their celebration.... Perhaps for this week, the joke is on you guys and its the Liverpool fans that are dancing and going to every thread celebrating...but that's life right? Things can easily turn the other way...and then the roles will be reversed... So chill bro..... This post has been edited by nando: Mar 23 2009, 09:36 AM |

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Mar 23 2009, 09:40 AM) they win & some come here to throw more than banters it is OK but when we win & throw some banters (ok, sometimes more than that for some supporters) even in OUR OWN THREAD = we are infuriating 'em??? biasalah tu...even our gaffers also do the same ma.....that is what makes football hot and potent ma....i have no problem ignorin those single posters who seems to post only when their team is winnin but to have some senior members to go over d fence & cross d limit NOT in their thread sums up d quality of so called best supporters eh? enjoy this light piece! from football 365.com/// Fergie & Rafa Are Like Squabbling Children Alex Ferguson has been a football manager for 35 years. He's won the Premier League ten times, the Champions League twice and a list of other pots too lengthy to list here. He's 67. Rafa Benitez first took charge of a Real Madrid youth side in 1986, he's managed six clubs and won La Liga twice and the Champions League once. He's 48. These are two distinguished men. Doyens of the game. At the very top of their profession. And still they cannot resist the temptation to argue like children who think they haven't got a big enough slice of cake. 'He's spent more money than me...no he's spent more money than me....But you've broken the transfer record...' blah, blah, blah. Frankly, it's quite pathetic. You might call this mind games, but the fact of the matter is that it's a pissing contest between two men who should know better. This is the sort of argument that should be happening on the YourSay boards of this fine website, not by the managers of the two biggest clubs in England. It's petty sniping of the most undignified kind, and one wonders why they're bothering. Instead of totting up his spend in the last five years, should Rafa Benitez not be revelling in probably the best domestic result in his time at Liverpool? And rather than responding, perhaps Ferguson should be addressing the problems raised by United's worst week of the season? In some ways it's interesting, in that an amateur psychologist might conclude several things about both men's psyches. It's possible that Benitez has something of inferiority complex, and is trying to convince us, Liverpool fans and his players that he is fighting against the odds, against a Goliath that could buy and sell his club if he wanted. Should Liverpool finish second he is trying to present that as a success, the idea that he is helpless against a rival of this size, and therefore winning the thing would be an even more incredible achievement. In Ferguson it may show that he is the slightest bit rattled by Liverpool's resurgence, and that he genuinely feels threatened. Of course, the stubborn old sod could just find it impossible to resist a retort. His desire to have the last word is all-consuming, and he might be totally relaxed and confident in his team's ability to finish the job they have started. Alternatively, it could just be two grown men squabbling who should know better. We have a potentially fascinating title race to look forward to, and the two managers would perhaps be best advised to direct attention to that, rather than their balance sheets. Nick Miller |

QUOTE(kikurazz @ Mar 26 2009, 09:13 AM) ah i luv it when players start talking up about chances of us slipping up - was Riera, and now Skrtel. that hopefully fired up the lads a bit, just like the way Rooney did to Liverpool. hopefully our lads keep their mouth shut and just concentrate on winning the remaining matches biasalah tuh.....this is call `baiting' by newspaper. Skrtel's Slovakia is playing England and of course he is interviewed. And since the Liverpool MU intensive rivalry is big news now, of course he is inevitably asked about the current situation la...but i doubt Skrtel's comment is a vicious one....and your hope of your lads or anyone for that matter (even if its a Liverpool player) keeping their mouth shut is almost impossible...i think there are recent reports about Evra dismissing something the past 2 defeats as no big deal for MU... so, these few days, expect loads of headlines to spice up the situation la...haha! only very seasoned players with loads of experiences in interview will know how to put up very neutral event...like Gerrard who will say nice goody 2 shoes stuffs like..the title is still for MU to lose, we focus 1 match at time, we just want to be ready in case MU slips...hehehehe Added on March 26, 2009, 3:08 pm QUOTE(narutokun83 @ Mar 26 2009, 09:24 AM) Meh, like Fletcher said, talk is cheap... its what at the end of the trophy that counts and not to mention... this IS Liverpool we're talking about, injuries and draws will come. talk is cheap...but then, what to do..these are stuffs that sell papers...This post has been edited by nando: Mar 26 2009, 03:12 PM |

QUOTE(Fyrekat @ Mar 26 2009, 04:39 PM) They're there, a bit old but hey, old is what i really pity is those poor Malaysian MU fans....won the competition, sleepless nights knowing they can watch their dream team at OT against biggest rival...if it was me winning a trip to Anfield and i kena belasah like that...i know how i will feel..... As for the shirt, I'm sure there are plenty around especially in the UK where the rivalry is even more intense! The tagline was definitely amusing ==> I'd Rather Walk Alone The timing though was less amusing |
