not really a good match for us. started surprisingly well. surprised to see sum of the selection but still ok considering we're at home. the turning point as i see it was when we concede the first goal. b4 that, pool weren't sniffing a lot on our goal.

anyway i hope vidic recovers from this bad game of his. his astute performance in previous games might have brought complacency into his game in this match causing him to underestimate torres's ability. we didn recover from that. i thot the half time hair-dryer treatment was enuff but unfortunately we couldnt score.

with regards to the potential manager after SAF, i reckon an establish manager would stabilise the ship for a while. with a huge father figure gone from the team, there must be some destabilising aura so a huge and influential manager is needed. guys like mourinho, ancellotti, hiddink who are there at the top level knows what is needed to stabilise the ship.

i still reserve my judgement on CQ. he hasnt really stand out when he's the one calling the shots. he might be a great tactician when he was with us, but a great tactician doesnt necessarily translate into a great manager. he might not be able to communicate or influence the team to perform the best.
